A big thank you to the Medford Police Department for another amazing National Night Out!

It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, meet new community members, and connect with other local organizations. Events like this are such a great opportunity to come together, build relationships, and celebrate our wonderful Medford community.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table to say hello! We always enjoy connecting with you and sharing the resources and services available to our community.

We’re already looking forward to the next one!

ONE WEEK TO GO!

Bring the whole family for an evening packed with fun next Tuesday, August 4, 2026 from 5-8pm at Hormel Stadium. We’ll have activities for kids of all ages, including a K9 demonstration, touch-a-truck, football throw/baseball pitch booth, lawn games, face painting, over 60 local vendor booths and so much more! We are also excited to have Razor's Barbershop giving FREE haircuts!

Special guests will also be joining us, Paw Patrol and Superhero characters for pictures, plus live performances/demos by Jody’s School of Dance, Xtreme Ninja Martial Arts and Mystic Players Revival!

And of course, FREE food! Enjoy sausages from Medford’s own Bianco & Sons with only the best Piantedosi rolls, hamburgers and hot dogs from Wegmans, and nutritious grab-and-go meals from Nutre Meals. For dessert, cool off with Richie’s Slush cups or grab a treat from a classic ice cream truck.

The City of Medford's 2nd Annual Back-to-School Resource Day is looking for volunteer barbers and hairdressers to provide FREE haircuts for local students.

Last year, our volunteer barbers and stylists made a huge difference, helping hundreds of children walk into school feeling confident and ready to succeed. We'd love to make an even bigger impact this year, with your help!

Extreme hot weather is in the forecast for this week, especially Thursday. If you’re in need of a cool space, the following locations are designated cooling centers:

- Medford Police Department Community Room (100 Main St.) - open 24 hours
- Medford Senior Center (101 Riverside Ave.) – Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm
- Medford Public Library (111 High St.) – Monday-Thursday, 9am-9pm; Friday, 9am-6pm; Saturday, 9am-5pm.
