Kesem at Tufts University Kesem is a nationwide community, led by passionate college student leaders, that supports children through and beyond their parent’s cancer.

Kesem is a diverse community led by passionate and empathetic college students working to ensure that children facing the challenges of a parent’s cancer have space, connection, and support to rediscover the joys of childhood. as founded in 2021 and supports children in the Medford community by providing Camp Kesem, a free week-long summer camp experience, and year-round Through and Beyond support services. Our chapter is operated by 30 student volunteers and serves 30 campers ages 6-18 per year. Kesem operates at more than 130 chapters coast-to-coast. Its programs and services are all funded by generous donations from individuals, foundations, and corporate partners. Kesem is a federally registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and supported our chapter at our annual Make the Magic Gala! Because of your generosity, we were able to raise $2,871.84. This support brings us one step closer to reaching our goal for the year and, most importantly, helps us continue supporting our campers at camp.

Camp Kesem at Tufts would love to invite all of you to our 3rd annual Make The Magic Gala! It will be taking place in the Cheryl A. Chase Center on April 10th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. We will be providing dinner with vegetarian options, raffles, opportunities to donate for camp supplies, and guest speeches. All ticket proceeds and donations will help us buy supplies for camp!
