Yamhill County Master Gardeners

Yamhill County Master Gardeners We provide research based information and educational programs for the public.

The purposes of the Yamhill Master Gardeners is:
to enhance and supplement the Oregon State University Home Horticulture Program (Master Gardener Program) in cooperation with the Yamhill County Extension Service
to assume responsibility for performing special tasks and engaging in activities related to the program
to promote a wide dissemination to citizens of information available as

a result of University study and experimentation. Such information shall be in accordance with Oregon State University standards
to work with other organization to enhance and promote gardening in the community
to provide scholarships for college level education

Newberg - 4pm-8pm 116 S College St, Newberg, OR 97132 - Weekly on Wednesdays

McMinnville - 12pm-6pm Cowls between 1st-2nd - Weekly on Thursdays

Insect pollinators include many more species of insects than just honey bees. Native bees are also important pollinators, in addition to many species of beetles, butterflies, moths and flies. These insects provide ecosystem services by spreading the pollen among different plants of the same species, helping them complete their life cycles by producing seed.
