Service + earth care + a little bit of “wait…flies do WHAT?!”

This afternoon, 9 MYC students jumped in to serve alongside our community—prepping cans and bottles for deposit return on behalf of Zero Waste McMinnville.

We learned practical ways to reduce single-use plastics at home, got a glimpse into sustainable & organic farming, and yes… learned more than we expected about the life cycle of flies (and their… contributions 😅).

Grateful for spaces that remind us that caring for creation is part of how we love our neighbors.

Huge thank you to Ramsey McPhillips, McPhillip Farms, Zero Waste McMinnville, and Tainable Labs for welcoming us into the farm lab today.
