Cooper’s Corner gives pets a safe place to stay while their owners work toward stability and a fresh start. 🐾

At The Samaritan Inn, we know the bond between people and their pets is powerful, and no one should have to choose between seeking help and keeping their best friend by their side.

Through your generous support toward North Texas Gives to Animals we have raised $80,462 to date along with the $50,000 match from the EDGE Family Fund. Your gifts support food, veterinary care, kennel operations, and safe shelter for the pets who call Cooper’s Corner home.

The campaign ends this week, help us hit our goal of $150,000!

A heartfelt thank you to the University of Michigan Dallas Alumni for volunteering at The Samaritan Inn! 💙💛

Their team spent time assembling Summer Camp bags for the children in our program, helping make sure our resident kids are equipped and excited for a summer filled with learning, growth, and fun experiences.

Their team jumped in to help prepare for two special programs that mean so much to our resident families, getting Santa’s Workshop ready for the holiday season and assembling Summer Camp bags for the children. These efforts make a meaningful impact on the families we serve.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. 💚

For many individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges can be both a cause and a result of housing instability. At The Samaritan Inn, we believe healing goes beyond providing shelter. Through supportive services, counseling resources, community support, and compassionate care, we strive to help individuals and families find a path forward.

This month, we encourage our community to help break the stigma surrounding mental health and lead with empathy, understanding, and compassion. You never know what someone may be carrying.

Help us support The Samaritan Inn's Pet Kennel, Cooper's Corner, by donating today. The first $100,000 in online donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar by The Gigi Gartner Charitable Foundation Fund and Communities Foundation of Texas.
