Congratulations to Raytheon’s WISE Group, our 2026 Corporate Volunteer Group of the Year! Thank you for assisting our residents during the Pop-Up Shop, serving at The Samaritan Inn Resale Store, and helping launch our first-ever Turkey Trot!

The WISE Group has consistently shown up with an unwavering commitment to our mission. Their recent Pop-Up Shop experience gave residents the opportunity to personally select clothing, shoes, and household items with dignity and choice, making a direct impact on the families we serve.

No matter the need, the WISE Group always brings their A-game, going above and beyond to support their neighbors experiencing homelessness. 💙 Thank You, Deloitte!

For more than 20 years, Deloitte has faithfully served The Samaritan Inn.

They recently completed a project that included painting and power washing, deep cleaning, assembling furniture, organizing storage, refreshing resident spaces, and even labeling our con-ex freezer. Their team tackled every task with enthusiasm, teamwork and a sense of humor that made the day fly by.

Because of your willingness to jump in wherever needed, our campus is better prepared to serve the individuals and families who call The Samaritan Inn home. We're grateful for the lasting partnership and commitment your team has shown year after year.

🐾💙 Thank You for Supporting Cooper's Corner! 💙🐾

Because of the incredible generosity of our community, our pet kennel campaign raised over $60,000 during North Texas Gives to Animals!

These funds will help provide safe shelter, food, veterinary care, and compassionate support for the pets who stay alongside their owners while they rebuild their lives at The Samaritan Inn.

For many residents, a beloved pet represents comfort, stability, and unconditional love during a difficult season. Cooper's Corner ensures families don't have to choose between seeking help and staying together.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this campaign a success. We are especially grateful to the EDGE Family Fund for providing a generous matching opportunity that inspired even greater impact.

A big thank you to the team at Encore Wire for serving as our Lunch Bag Brigade and preparing nearly 100 sack lunches for our residents!

Because of volunteers like you, our residents receive more than a meal. They experience kindness, encouragement, and the support of a community that cares.

As back-to-school season approaches, we’re collecting school supplies to help support children and families at The Samaritan Inn as they prepare for a successful school year. ✏️📚🎒

Donations of new school supplies help ease financial stress for families working toward stability and independence while ensuring students have the tools they need to start the year confident and prepared.

We are currently accepting donations of:

🏀 Summer is off to a great start!

Our resident children recently kicked off summer with an exciting experience at Texas Legends Summer Camp, where they learned basketball fundamentals like shooting, passing and ball handling while being encouraged by coaches and staff.

Thank you to the Texas Legends for creating a fun and encouraging environment and helping make summer memories our children won't forget.

Congratulations to Ashley House on completing the Nonprofit Management Certificate Program!

Hosted by our valued partner, the North Texas Food Bank, and presented by the Center for Nonprofit Management, this program consisted of seven courses led by industry professionals covering key topics such as financial management, strategic planning, leadership, and nonprofit operations.

Ashley dedicated her time to learning alongside fellow nonprofit professionals from across North Texas, gaining valuable knowledge and skills that will help strengthen our mission and better serve the individuals and families who rely on The Samaritan Inn.

We are grateful to the North Texas Food Bank for hosting this incredible program and creating a welcoming environment for learning, collaboration, and growth!

A huge thank you to the incredible team from Dynacraft for spending time with us at The Samaritan Inn! 💙

Their volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help assemble and organize summer camp bags for the children living at The Samaritan Inn, ensuring each child has the supplies they need for a fun, enriching summer experience.

While these bags may seem simple, they represent something much bigger: the opportunity for children experiencing homelessness to enjoy the same summer traditions, activities, and memories as their peers. Time and again, we hear from families how much it means to experience a sense of normalcy during a challenging season of life.
