We stopped at Comerica Bank in Plano yesterday and saw the current prom dress drive they have going. Please consider donating if you have the dress!!!!!

This February, donate a new or gently used, cleaned prom dress to the Comerica Bank Prom Dress Drive and help teens at Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County feel confident and celebrated on prom night.

Thanks to everyone who came out to support SOCK yesterday!! Lots of "Thank Yous" coming soon. Preliminary totals include 455 pairs of socks, $431 in cash donations, feminine products, flip flops, survival kits, toiletries and so much more. Why preliminary totals? There were so many goodies that we had to send stuff with two other cars because there wasn't enough room in ours!!!!

We SOCKIN' BIG time!!

Another few hundred socks dropped today for some McKinney folks and more dropping tomorrow!! Those socks you are purchasing are going on happy feet!!

We have another drive running, it will with finish up with our annual September Birthdays Fish Fry benefitting SOCK on Saturday September 13, 2025 - Noon-4 at Three Links - Deep Ellum, TX!! Musical guest announcement soon!! Bring NEW socks or a cash donation and enjoy all you can eat crappie, catfish and all the fixins!!! Want to donate before then??!! So grateful!!!This was what SOCK - Saving Our Community with Kindness was doing last Sunday!! Thanks to La Tiendita and Finch Elementary for letting us come have fun with you!! Thanks also to all the donors and supporters of SOCK who help get those socks on feet!! This event? About 3700 pairs of socks for kids, siblings, parents, and even grandparents!!!

SOCK has been busy preparing to distribute socks at Finch Elementary in McKinney this weekend. Thanks to our junior volunteers Alliann, Anna, and Leah this week for helping! Thanks to the grown ups for donating and labor! Thanks to Reliable Plant Maintenance for hosting our drive and giving us the space to get it ready!! We appreciate all of you helping get socks on feet!
