The United States is celebrating our 250th anniversary in 2026, marking a
significant milestone in our nation's history. This semiquincentennial presents an exceptional opportunity for the Naval Sea Cadet Corps to recognize and encourage cadet participation in patriotic community activities that honor our nation's founding and heritage.

The America's 250th Anniversary Ribbon may be awarded to any NSCC Officer, Midshipman, Instructor, Sea Cadet, or League Cadet who actively participate in an Official America 250 event.

Pittsburgh Sea Cadets will have the opportunity to earn the ribbon later this month with the Daughters of the American Revolution hosting an event in Boston, PA.

The CO has sent out information to the Cadets and Parents.

The Supply Room recieved our order of the official ribbon this week.

Cadets, Parents, and Volunteer Staff. The CO sent out two Emails in the last 24 hours. One to the currently enrolled and appling Volunteers. One to everyone (cadets, guardians, staff)

It highlights many things happening even with out a July unit meeting. It also highlights the August meeting.

please read and acknowledge these messages. If you did not get them, check junk, check the contact emails you have in Homeport, Then if that does not solve it. Contact the CO.

Also, one last reminder to Cadets and Parents traveling to traveling real soon. Be sure you read all information on the details tab, welcome letter, packing list, and anything the training sent you. We have had Cadets went home over missed details.

The Pittsburgh Sea Cadets will be attending this event again this year.

Our unit meets in Elizabeth Township and has a great relationship with the Fire Department🚒.

We hope to see a great turnout.

We are very proud of are long history here in the City of Pittsburgh going back to 1964 and remaining in continues operations throughout our 63 years. We are researching our history in preparation for our 65th Anniversary in 2029.
