Summer is rapidly approaching with the hot weather; the Club has the following activities planned for June.
Tuesday, June 9th will be our next Club board meeting at 7pm via Zoom. Jim Bricker N3JHB will issue an email to the board members concerning the agenda and the Zoom log-in.
Thursday, June 11th will be our operations night beginning at 7pm at the Lincoln Borough VFD 184 Social Hall, 4312 Liberty Way, Elizabeth 15037. We use the Club call W3OC which allows Technician and General Class operators to operate on all bands (Extra Class operators will be there to assist). If you or someone you know wants to learn more about operations, please come out and we will help. We will be making antennas for the upcoming Fox and Hound Hunt.
Saturday, June 13th is the Club’s Hams and Eggs Breakfast. It will be held at the Butlers Golf Course Rock Run Inn, 800 Rock Run Road, Elizabeth 15037 starting at 9:30 am. Please join us for a great breakfast and great company.
Saturday, June 13th – FOX AND HOUND HUNT: The Fox and Hound hunt will follow the Hams and Eggs breakfast. The hunt will begin at 12-noon at Round Hill Park just off of Rt 51. We will gather at the parking lot at the very top of the park. Turn left on the road just before the lower parking lot and go to the top of the hill. The parking lot is on the left.
Tuesday, June 16th will be our next Club meeting at 7pm at the Blaine Hill VFD Main Hall, 409 Oxford Ave, Elizabeth, PA 15037. The major subjects will be results of the Fox and Hound hunt and preparations for Field Day.
Saturday, June 27nd to Sunday June 28rd is FIELD DAY! We will need people to help setup Friday evening and Saturday morning, operators for the 4-5 radios we plan to run, and people for teardown on Sunday afternoon. More information will be provided in follow-up emails. Please come to the Club meeting to let everyone know what you can do to help with Field Day. VE testing will be held at Field Day. Please contact Mike Kowalcheck if you are interested in taking a test.

Broadcastify: You can now listen the W3OC repeater on the internet using Broadcastify. Go to our website at trarc.org. On the HOME page, scroll down to just below the pictures that are at the top of the HOME page. Find “Two Rivers ARC W3OC On the Air.” Click the link “Go to Two Rivers ARC W3OC On the Air.” A new page will open and you will see a black rectangle with Feed Status and Listeners. The Feed Status should say Online. You can adjust the volume by moving the slide bar next to the speaker icon.
