We are heading into the long weekend with some BIG numbers! 🎉

💰 OVER $5,300 RAISED!
📖 OVER 6,000 MINUTES READ!

And we have a new classroom leader! 🏆
🎉 Ms. Mocogni’s class has jumped into the lead for fundraising and has officially secured the Read-A-Scoop Crew for the weekend! 🍦🐏

If you haven’t registered yet DO IT TODAY! And don’t forget to log those reading minutes! Every minute counts! 📚⏱️

🎟️ FIRST WEEK DRAWINGS ARE COMING! 🎟️

The first-week drawings will be held Saturday morning! ☀️

All minutes read and fundraising must be entered by Friday evening to qualify for the drawings.

Anyone who meets the qualification will be entered into the appropriate drawing, with one winner per drawing.

So before you head into the long weekend, make sure your student is registered and all minutes and donations are logged!

🎉 WE EARNED OUR FIRST SCOOP! 🎉

Our Read-A-Thon tracker has officially hit $4,000 raised, and we are now at an amazing:

💰 $4,490 RAISED!
📖 4,124 MINUTES READ!

So… can we make it to $6,000 by the weekend?! 👀🍦 We’re only $1,510 away!

🏆 Mrs. Lavelle’s class is STILL holding onto the lead and keeping the Read-A-Scoop Crew for another day! BUT… Mrs. Bojan’s class is catching up QUICK! 👀

🍦📚 DAY 3 of the Read-A-Thon! 📚🍦

🏆 Mrs. Lavelle’s class is STILL in the lead for fundraising and is hanging on to the Read-A-Scoop Crew for another day! Can anyone catch them? 👀

📖 2,465 minutes have been read in total for RGS so far!

🍦 And here’s the exciting part… we are LESS THAN $500 AWAY from our FIRST SCOOP on our tracker! Who’s going to help us fill that scoop?! 🙌

🎟️ Our first batch of Culver’s Scoop Cards is going home TODAY! Thank you to Fox Lake Culver’s!
Students who have raised $50+ OR read 50+ minutes have earned a Scoop Card. Keep reading and logging those minutes, and keep those donations coming!

Remember, fundraising is not required to participate or win many of our prizes, every minute counts! 📚❤️

And don’t forget… the Read-A-Scoop Crew will be moving classrooms each day to the classroom with the highest fundraising total! 🍦👀

We’re looking for one amazing parent volunteer to help chair our Richardson Farm Night! 💛🙌

Duties include:
✨ Creating the SignUpGenius for the check-in table
📝 Collecting all forms from school and entering names into a spreadsheet
📋 Helping keep everything organized and running smoothly
