Six years ago this week, the Henry Herald highlighted our sweet little pantry, which was the first of its kind in our area. We are so thankful for the way the community received our idea back then, and has continued to support our mission since. It’s been a blessing to see other similar mini pantries pop up throughout the county, too!

DHS released a statement today that SNAP benefits for the month of November will not be credited if the shutdown continues. Millie’s Mini Pantry is available for use again! The beautiful cedar wood used to make the new doors was milled from trees felled on our property here in Henry County. We are grateful for the craftsman who built the doors and reinstalled the cabinet for us. We will be doing some more work on the cabinet this weekend to improve the exterior appearance. Thanks for your patience with us as we have worked to get this done. ❤️
