Many of them shared they're ready to come visit the campus. And we're ready to head to Tuskegee this October 17th for Fall Open House. ❤️💛 Get on the Skegee Bus and let us roll out the Crimson and Gold carpet for you.

If your kid turns 18 without signing these 4 documents, you lose all legal authority over them. Even in an emergency.

1. Medical Power of Attorney - lets you make medical decisions if they're incapacitated. Without it, doctors can't tell you anything.

2. HIPAA Authorization - allows hospitals to share their medical information with you. Without it, you're legally blocked.

3. Financial Power of Attorney - lets you access their accounts and pay bills if they can't. Without it, you're stuck.

4. A Simple Will - yes, even at 18. Ensures their assets go where they want and saves your family a legal nightmare.

Takes 30 minutes. Could save your family from a nightmare. 🤷‍♂️

Calling all 17-24 yr olds. At Promise At Work Workforce Development Program . 836 Metropolitan Pkwy 30310.

This program focuses on Job Placement, Resume Building, Mock Interviews , Dress for Success, Full Workforce Development Training. Participants are able to obtain Certifications based of the participants career pathway. Certifications include but not limited to Forklift, Welding, CDA, CNA, Automotive Training, Culinary Arts , Restaurant Management Training, Fire Department Academy and many more different Vocational and Post Secondary Opportunities. Relationship building skills, social skills, communication skills, financial literacy Credit building , mentorship and etc.

This 12 week program is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30am-2:30pm

• Free summer meals continue through Thursday, June 25
Breakfast: 8:00-8:30 a.m.
Lunch: 12:00-12:30 p.m.
Kids under 19 eat free. Meals must be eaten on site.

✅ WHAT PARENTS SHOULD DO NOW
• Complete the Annual Information Update/Online Registration in Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
• Update phone numbers, email addresses, emergency contacts, medical information, transportation choices, and meal benefit information.
• If your child will ride the bus, make sure transportation is selected in registration. Bus route information is expected to reopen in July. “Here Comes the Bus” school code: 29902.
• Check your child’s school website or social media page for supply lists. Some supply lists vary by grade, teacher, and school.
• Make sure immunizations are up to date. Students need Georgia Form 3231 and Form 3300. Special vaccine requirements apply for 7th and 11th graders.
• Apply for free or reduced meals when the 2026-2027 application opens in July. Prior-year eligibility remains active until September 10.
