“Leo”
Is a 17.2 hand 10 yo imported Zangersheide Warmblood. He is a joy to ride, carries himself well, knows lateral work and would make an excellent lower level dressage horse. His ground manners are lovely, he travels well, good for farrier, bathing, etc. He is simple to ride and generally quite.
He does have some medical restrictions preventing him from jumping.
Price and video available. If you come try him, you’ll love him!

Did you know that riding horses activates the brains executive-function system? The prefrontal cortex is responsible for focus, planning, impulse control, and judgement. Every stride a horse takes requires balance, communication, coordination, timing, awareness and so much more.

Participants gain so much from our horses mentally, emotionally and physically. Sometimes theres a little more going on than just what meets the eye!

We are so excited for the improvements made to our sensory integration trail by a UTC Occupational Therapy student through their capstone project!

Sensory integration therapies can help a person learn to process and organize inputs from their environment. This can lead to enhanced focus, emotional regulation, and motor skills. It allows individuals to navigate daily tasks with greater independence and comfort.

We are so excited about this improvement to our facility and students are enjoying it!

Our gelding herd out enjoying their home life!
One of the tools we use in equine assisted therapy is observing herd dynamics. There are both healthy and unhealthy characteristics to be observed. Human relationships are profoundly mirrored in equine relationships, and there is much healing and growth to be found.
