Our gelding herd out enjoying their home life!
One of the tools we use in equine assisted therapy is observing herd dynamics. There are both healthy and unhealthy characteristics to be observed. Human relationships are profoundly mirrored in equine relationships, and there is much healing and growth to be found.

Discipline Discover Camp has just 3 spots left!

June 8-11 we will dive into the art of both english and western riding and give a great overview of equestrian opportunities! Our camps accommodate both individuals with and without special needs. We do small group tailored activities and integrative large group activities!

Whether you are new to riding or wanting to refine skills with more saddle time, bring your friends and check out all 3 of our camps. Register here: https://www.tristatetherapeuticriding.org/summercamp

We are loving the new guy, Journey! He is sensitive and sensible. He knows his job and gives so much feedback to help our riders grow!

A heartfelt thank you to all who gave Greta extra love and care this week. She has been an inspiration to many kids, giving them confidence, and her departure will be felt deeply. Greta is now running free from pain in green pastures. We are grateful for her gentle nature, her magnificent mane, and her sweet face. She will always be remembered.

SAVE THE DATE: Friday, October 23rd 2026!🎉

We are looking ahead to this years Boots in the Barn Gala. This event is such a beautiful time of the community coming together to celebrate and support the programs and impact of TSTRC. Last year we logged over 250 volunteer hours in preparation to the event, had over 200 attendees and raised vital funds to support reduced tuition and affordable services to all of our participants.

If you or anyone you know would like to sponsor a table or the event itself, contact Olivia at (423) 285-2636 or [email protected].

We talk about Trust in terms of actions over time. Each choice can build or break trust and patterns over time matter. For some it comes easy, for others its a bigger challenge. In vulnerable moments like these, identifying trustworthy characteristics becomes that much more apparent.
