River City Sculptures on Parade River City Sculptures on Parade is a non-profit group with a vision to bring a significant display of public art to Mason City, IA.

River City Sculptures on Parade is an exciting exhibit of outdoor sculptures displayed year-round in downtown Mason City, Iowa. Artists place their sculptures in the program for one year, and all sculptures are promoted to the public for sale. Artists are eligible to win awards such as Best of Show and People's Choice Award.

It’s time to go for a sculpture walk and vote for your favorite sculpture. Brochures and ballots can be found at Visit Mason City, the Chamber of Commerce*, City Hall*, Central Park kiosk*, Mason City Library*, MacNider Art Museum*, Park Inn hotel, Robert E Mccoy Architectural Interpretive Center, and Southbridge Mall east hallway* by the movie theater and a few other places. (*= ballot box locations) Please vote.

“Dodeca Bouquet” a beautiful kinetic sculpture by Dave Riemer has recently been added to Mason City’s permanent collection of sculptures thanks to a generous donation by Ron and Dianna Moeller. It has been moved to a new location on 2nd St S.E. where you can watch it spin in the wind.

It’s the last weekend to view the sculptures that are on loan for this exhibit year. Most of these sculptures will be uninstalled on April 28 (although several will become part of our permanent collection and reinstalled in a new location). The new sculptures for 2026-27 will be installed starting on May 12 (weather permitting). Enjoy the weekend and go for a sculpture walk. Time is running short - go for a sculpture walk. The sculptures on loan will be taken down the last week of April (although a few will be staying in Mason City as additions to the permanent collection).
New sculptures for 2026-27 will be installed starting May 12.
