We are excited to feature a local partner has our October 🌟Spotlight Volunteer! Our local Nestle R & D Center has been a huge help and worked many hours with our spring yard clean ups! Since 2024, the Nestle Cares Committee has provided 41 volunteers to help tidy up the yards of 10 members. They have raked, weeded, mulched, trimmed plants and bushes, and cleaned and moved patio furniture. One volunteer stated, “ Thank you, Neighbor to Neighbor, for allowing us to help some of our neighbors. We look forward to it every year.”

It's National Good Neighbor Day! 🏡

Earlier this month, we visited the Union County Commissioners where they proclaimed today as National Good Neighbor Day in Union County. We encourage you to take time today to do something nice for a neighbor; help lift something heavy, offer a compliment, write a note, smile. It does not have to be a grand gesture to make an impact!

It's National Falls Prevention Week and there are many events happening around Union County, including CarFit on Wednesday, September 23rd in Marysville.

What is CarFit? CarFit is an assessment that helps you have the safest fit in your vehicle. This can include adjusting your seat, mirrors, checking your seat belt placement, access to foot pedals and other vehicle controls, and more! It is NOT a test of driving ability. Contact Union County Mobility Manager Tam Blakely at 937-539-3351 to register for this event!

We are so honored to have had the opportunity to speak about Neighbor to Neighbor last night at the SheGives Union County inaugural meeting. We were able to share who we are and what we do with 105 ladies who believe in supporting and investing in our community!

We are switching gears this month to celebrate a 🌟Spotlight MEMBER🌟!

Juanita is the very first member to celebrate TEN YEARS with Neighbor to Neighbor! She is thankful to all the volunteers who have helped her around the house and yard over the years. Juanita said, “With Neighbor to Neighbor, there is always someone able to help when I need something done. All I have to do is make a phone call and someone is there. It has been such a blessing to me.”
