If Not Now, When? If Not You, Who?
Dive Into Tomorrow Event Video

On Saturday, May 16th over two hundred people gathered at Camp Christian to celebrate our Dive Into Tomorrow festivities as part of our If Not Now, When? If Not You, Who? fundraising campaign.

Individuals and families toured the camp, enjoyed a Summer Camp/Ministry Partner Fair, participated in a Construction Blessing and Ceremonial Groundbreaking, and many stayed for the barbeque dinner and talent show to conclude the day.

The 2026 Adult Conference is in full swing! Rev. Dr. Valerie Bridgeman, Dean and Hebrew Bible Professor at the Methodist Theological Seminary of Ohio is leading us through our theme, “Faithfully Fighting With God” via the book of Job. Rev. Mark Anthony, our Adult Conference President, is leading us quite ably. We have recently had a few folks run into this issue, so we wanted the share a note widely to bring it to everyone’s attention.

If you complete an online Registration for a Camp Christian/Ohio Regional Event you MUST click on the “FINISH REGISTERING” button in order to actually submit your registration. If you have not done this, the registration has not gone through. The picture with this post is what this screen/button looks like with an arrow added.

If you aren’t sure whether or not you completed this step for an upcoming camp/conference/event, please check your credit card or bank account to see if a payment has posted. If you are not seeing a charge, most likely you have not registered. (If you intentionally registered without payment, please check with the office.)

Bazetta Christian Church Seeks Settled Full-Time Pastor

Bazetta Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is seeking its next full-time settled Pastor. The congregation, founded in 1848 and located in Cortland, Ohio in Trumbull County which is in Northeastern Ohio. Our church is a dynamic and faithful community of Christians focused on vibrant outreach, engaging worship, especially music, and supporting the Bazetta Christian Childcare Center which our congregation proudly provides to the community. Our goals include: growing our membership, increasing youth and young adult membership & participation, more community involvement, and encouraging inward reflection for giving and stewardship.

We are an open and loving congregation and are willing to open our doors and arms to anyone who needs God’s love. Our church believes in the power of prayer. We have helped many church members and nonmembers during times of need through conversation, prayer, and compassion. June 19th is an incredibly important day in the history of the United States as it marks the end of the enslavement of human beings in the United States when, on June 19, 1865, the last enforcement of the emancipation proclamation took in Texas a year and a half after President Lincoln signed it into law.

For the Church, we recognize the parallel importance of moving from bo***ge in slavery to freedom whether it was our Hebrew, forebears escaping slavery in Egypt, or as followers of Christ, escaping the bo***ge of the slavery of sin & selfishness, and celebrating the freedom of new life in Jesus Christ. Whether it is political, social, or spiritual we recognize no human being should be under the control of anyone else and celebrate the dignity, agency, and worth of all human beings.

Summer Has Started But There Is Still Time To Register For Camp!

While a few events have already passed, all of the other camps, conferences, and retreats are still accepting registrations. All of the registration forms for the various weeks of camp as well as the health and scholarship forms and information are linked directly through our Regional Church website at https://www.ccinoh.com/camp-christian/summer-programs/form-downloads-and-links.aspx.

As with previous years, there are abundant scholarships available. We don't want cost to ever be a reason someone doesn't come to Camp. Scholarship forms are available on the same website.

We have an opportunity for spiritual growth and faithful fun for people of ALL AGES! Our remaining 2026 Summer Program Season includes:

Adult Conference: NEXT WEEK June 22nd – 25th at Northwest Christian Church
For Adults of all ages
Partial attendance options available

Ribbit Camp: July 8th – 11th at Camp Christian
For children who just completed 2nd – 5th grades (Spring/Summer 2026) who would like a half-week Camp experience.

Chi Rho Camp Corinth: July 12th – 18th at Camp Christian
For Youth who just completed 6th, 7th, or 8th grade (Spring/Summer 2026)

CYF Conference Week #2: July 19th – 25th at Camp Christian
For Youth who just completed 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grade (Spring/Summer 2026)

Advance Ministries Summer Conference: July 26th – August 2nd at Camp Christian
For all adults ages 19 to 30 (at least 1 year out of high school.)

Disciples Fellowship Retreat (DFR): Labor Day Weekend, September 4th – 6th at Camp Christian
