On behalf of Don’t Count Me Out, I’m honored to present this scholarship. DCMO was created from loss, but built on love, strength, and purpose—to support those who have lost a loved one and remind them they can keep going.

This scholarship is awarded to a student who has faced loss but continues to push forward with determination and courage.

DCMO is blessed with some truly SPECIAL people: Kia Blackwell, Monte Bernard, Cheryl Rogers, Shaleta Joy Smith, Ontonio Yates, my beautiful mother Josephine Pilson, and my amazing sisters Katina Jones, Melissa Turner and Orlena Hunt… along with our dedicated volunteers, donors, sponsors, team players, Referees, Crystal Jeffers, Danielle Jones, Mr. Tank (custodian), Mrs. Gravely, Karla Maiye-Lynn Scales, Bulldog Nation, KP2 Squared and our Audience.
