Martinsville-Henry County Lions Club We meet at 6:30 pm on the 2nd and 4th Tues. at the Sirloin House at 530 Commonwealth Blvd. by Roses Dept. Store Scholarships and several other events.

The Martinsville-Henry County Lions Club became a newly chartered entity on Feb. 4th, 2009. the club is a merged club consisting of members from area because of the declining and aging membership in each club. The three clubs that merged have been in existence for many years. Now there is a renewed interest and vigor in the new club, interest and participation is a new high. The club engages in ma

ny activities throughout the year, monthly Bluegrass show at the historic Rives Theatre being the most notable activity. The club also sponsors Broom sales,White Cane fund raiser and The Bland Music Competition, Radio Days, P.H.C.C. MHC Lions Club provide a much needed function in the community and hope to encourage new and youthful members to its fold. This community and this country needs these clubs as much as the clubs need them.
