In case you missed it, our Fall Meals Campaign is still underway, and there is still time to be part of it. 💛

So many homebound seniors across Contra Costa County count on Meals on Wheels, and for many, it’s the only meal they’ll have all day. Your support helps make those meals possible, and every gift brings us closer to our fall campaign goal.

🚤💙 Thank you for making the 3rd Annual Island Charity Cruise Fundraiser such a success!

We’re incredibly grateful to the San Joaquin Yacht Club for hosting this special event in support of Meals on Wheels of Contra Costa and Bethel Island Childrens Support.

A special thank you to Nancy and Glenn Hammonds for leading this event and bringing our community together, and to Alice Hammonds for preparing the delicious food for everyone to enjoy.

We’re also so thankful to the boat captains and first mates who generously donated the use of their boats and their time, as well as all the volunteers and participants who helped make the day possible.

This year’s fundraiser was held in memory of Dennis Pippin, whose memory continues to inspire the generosity and community spirit behind this event.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, donated, volunteered, and helped spread the word. We’re so grateful for this incredible community and the support you’ve shown for both organizations. 💙🙏

We’re getting ready for 925 Gives and are excited to be participating for the first time!

There’s a special “Working 9 to 5” challenge happening on September 25, giving our community another fun way to support local nonprofits.

September 25 is now known in California as Dolly Parton Day, thanks to Senate Bill 931!

In celebration of Dolly Parton and her philanthropic legacy, 3VCF is hosting a special challenge on September 25 for nonprofits participating in 925 GIVES. $925 will be awarded to the nonprofit organization that receives the highest number of online donations from unique individuals between 9 AM and 5 PM.
