The House just passed a War Powers Resolution opposing Trump’s unauthorized war with Iran. A major rebuke to another endless war fought without congressional approval.

This victory didn’t happen by accident. It happened because people across the country called, organized, met with lawmakers, and demanded accountability.

Now it’s time for the Senate to act. Let’s keep the pressure on and send this resolution to Trump’s desk.

No more illegal wars. No more blank checks for militarism.

Today, a congresswoman lied to have CODEPINK co-founder Medea Benjamin detained by Capitol Police.

Why? To try to silence our work against U.S. wars in the Middle East and sanctions on Cuba.

Instead of defending these wildly unpopular policies, members of Congress target the activists working to stop them.

Thankfully, Medea was released without charges.

No amount of intimidation will change that the majority of people in the U.S. want to stop U.S. wars and aggression. We won't be silenced.

🇧🇴 Bolivians are rising up against the US puppet government of Rodrigo Paz. Who is he?

Born into Bolivia’s white ruling class, Paz ascended to power with ease.

His father was president from 1989 to 1993, and his great uncle served as president 4 times between 1951 and 1985.

When his father was the president of Bolivia in 1989, he imposed devastating IMF, free-market, and right-wing policies.

In 2025, he won the presidential election on the right-wing Christian Democratic Party ticket, ending nearly two decades of socialist governance in Bolivia.

He is currently the subject of an anti-corruption investigation for a bridge project he approved as Mayor of Tarija that cost taxpayers $10.5m but not built under his tenure.
