Congratulations to our two Culver City Sister City Committee community Scholarship recipients.

Serena R. Klipfel and Sophia N. Vegas each received scholarships from CCSCC Board members Marie Leyva and Kumiko Sassamiri. The entire Board of Directors congragulates Serena and Sophia.

Culver City Sister City Committee proudly continues to support Culver City High School Seniors by annually bestowing two scholarships totaling $1,500.00.

The Culver City Community Scholarship Program began in 1962 through the joint effort of the CCUSD Board of Education, Culver City High School and the Culver City community. It was a community effort to raise funds to promote the continued education of graduating seniors, Culver City CENTAURS. The scholarships can be used at a two-year college, four- year college, or vocational training school.

Casa Sanchez was a wonderful venue for the special gathering.

The CCSCC Board of Directors is composed of 21 members. CCSCC represents 5 distinctly unique cities in Mexico, Japan, South Korea, Canada and Italy.
