California World Water Forum

California World Water Forum California World Water Forum is a projected Public/Private Partnership dedicated to innovative water solutions for California and developing world communities.

It seeks to build on our successful Southern California program administered by the MWD. California World Water Forum is an outgrowth of the Southern California World Water Forum (SCWWF). SCWWF is a public/ngo partnership dedicated to innovative water solutions for California as well as developing world communities. SCWWF provides small grants for proposals submitted by students and their professo

rs from Southern California colleges and universities. The SCWWF partners include the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Southern California Metropolitan Water District, Los Angeles County Sanitation, American Society of Civil Engineers, Friends of the United Nations, U.S. Water and Power and Water for People. The California World Water Forum is anticipated to be statewide, beyond the regional limitations of SCWWF, including public entities, the private sector and ngo's. Our hope is to spur greater water use efficiency and conservation in California, statewide, and tie those efforts into the humanitarian water and sanitation goals of the United Nations.
