"I don't want to take something away from my brothers and sisters who need it more."

United Military Care hears this concern often. We respect the heart behind it - those who have given so much are often hesitant to ask for anything in return, even if it is well deserved. If this is you, we want you to know that we understand. We also want you to know that we would be honored if you joined us for the upcoming We CARE Vet Fair™: Metro Atlanta event. Even if it's just out of curiosity. Even if you don't meet with a VSO.

There is always something out there that we don't know about, or don't take advantage of. This is an opportunity to learn something new. Who knows - it might just change everything.

We invite our Veterans, Current Military (including our Reserves and National Guard), Military Families, Caregivers, and Survivors to join us at Cobb County Civic Center in Marietta on Thursday, October 22, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

VA benefits support, legal help, healthcare, mental health, employment support, and wellness screenings will be on-site, offered at no cost to attendees.

Come with questions. Leave with a plan.

Today's Fact: Did you know that there are Sailors and Marines currently serving in Cobb County?

If that's you or a person you love, or if you already turned in your gear and are figuring out life on the outside, the We CARE Vet Fair™: Metro Atlanta event is a great place to start. Veterans and members of all branches and components are welcome - there's something for everyone.

The We CARE Vet Fair™: Metro Atlanta brings VA benefits help, healthcare, mental health support, legal services, and employment resources into one room at the Cobb County Civic Center. No appointment, no forms ahead of time, no requests for donations or hidden costs for services provided at the event.

Military Spouses and Family Members, this is for you, too. Not as an afterthought, but as a priority, with health screenings and connections to the community happening in real time. Your role in the Military and Veteran community is critical and we appreciate you!
