YOU could make an epic cutting board like one you see in the photos! GRM Members Chris and Amber went to Makers Network last year before we had our space setup in GR and had a date day making EPIC cutting boards that we absolutely love!

There is still time to get signed up for our cutting board class THIS SUNDAY! Time is growing thin though! We stop registrations 24 hours ahead of time!

So register tonight OR early Saturday to make one THIS SUNDAY!

We dropped rates for this class for the summer to $99 for non-members and $89 for GRM Members.

We helped a local with some signs to gift a friend of hers that is opening up a wine bar in Traverse City!

Big news from GRM — our Combat Robotics Club pre-orders are officially open! 🤖

We're launching a Founding Season of plastic ant-class robot combat right here in Walker, and we want you in it. Choose your bot, add the accessories you need, and we'll place a group order together — saving everyone 15% off retail.

Pre-order deadline is July 1. After we place the order and get a delivery confirmation, we'll announce build days at the makerspace so nobody has to figure it out alone. Then some pre-season matches in August, and the official season kicks off in September during GR Tech Week.

No experience needed — that's what the build nights are for.

🛠️ Summer camps are coming to Grand River Makerspace!

We've got two options for young makers this July:

Maker Camp (Ages 10+) — Tue/Wed/Thu, 9am–1pm | $195

3D printing, laser cutting, woodworking, and crafts.
Two sessions: July 7–9 and July 21–23.

D&D Camp (Ages 14+) — Mon/Wed/Fri, 9am–1pm | $175

Create a character, join a party, and play through a mini-campaign. Every camper gets a custom 3D-printed miniature and shirt. No experience needed!
Two sessions: July 13, 15, 17 and July 27, 29, 31.

Want to see what our laser engravers can do? 👀

This Thursday, May 21 from 6–8 PM we're hosting an Intro to Laser Engraving — a hands-on demo night where you'll see the machines in action, learn about the different laser technologies we have, and watch a project come to life right in front of you.

This is a demonstration and overview — no prior experience needed and nothing to bring. Just come curious.

Summer camps are officially happening at GRM this July!
