As people of faith and engaged members of our communities, we encourage all eligible voters to make a plan to participate in the upcoming election.

One way to help avoid potential Election Day disruptions is to vote early and in person, if possible.

🗳️ Georgia early voting takes place October 13–30, 2026. We especially encourage voters to consider participating during the first two weeks of early voting.

Grandparents connect us to stories, traditions, values, and experiences that began long before we did.

Their wisdom reminds us that strong families and communities are not built by one generation alone. They grow when we listen to those who came before us, learn from the lives they have lived, and carry forward what is good.

Today, we celebrate the grandparents and elders who help us remember where we came from—and inspire us to widen the circle for those who follow.

The evening will bring together religious and legal community leaders for a discussion marking 250 years of American religious liberty.

On National Dog Day, we honor the dogs who have served alongside the people who protect our communities and freedoms.

Across generations, dogs have supported members of the military, public safety professionals, veterans, people with disabilities, and families. Dogs also have a way of bringing people together across differences. In a country where people hold many different beliefs, we share important freedoms—including the freedom to worship, practice a faith, or follow our conscience.

Today is a chance to recognize the dogs who stand beside those who serve, and the freedoms that allow people of different beliefs to live together in the same community. How can shared service remind us of the freedoms we hold in common?

As we remember the lives lost on September 11, we also honor the unity, compassion, and shared resolve that followed.

We’re grateful to support our friends at Interfaith Atlanta, First Christian Church of Decatur, and Gentle Spirit Christian Church as they gather for an interfaith commemoration marking 25 years since 9/11.

Join them on September 10 for an evening of solemn reflection—and renewed hope for continued interfaith unity in the face of violence.
