Meet Sebastian and DeLaney, the newest additions to their forever family!

Thank you, Compassion Rescue, for giving them a second chance at a happy life.

As they settle into their new home, they'll need time to adjust, but with love and care, they'll thrive.

We've now provided shelter to 79 cats in need, exceeding our expectations and demonstrating the urgent demand for compassion and support.

A new chapter begins!

Bentley is getting a second chance at finding his footing after losing his previous home due to his strong personality.

At two years old, he's showing signs of assertiveness and growling, but we're ready to help him channel his energy.

Bentley's journey so far: his first home didn't work out, but his second residence brought him companionship, playtime, and family outings, despite the challenges of apartment living.

With neighbors complaining, Bentley faced an uncertain future, including the possibility of an overcrowded shelter or worse.

But then came us, his last hope!

With breeds like his Mastiff - Belgian Malinois mix, it's not surprising he'd need guidance. Excessive barking and whining are common traits, but with extensive training and a new purpose, we believe Bentley will thrive.

We're committed to helping him reach his full potential, and we're hopeful you'll join us in wishing him the best.

We enjoy hosting a new cat for a stay, giving them a respite from catery life and a chance to unwind as a beloved house cat.

It's a day filled with affection and individual love. Today is all about Cassie.

Cassie’s story is one of profound companionship.

She was deeply cherished by a young boy, with whom she shared countless moments in his room, snuggling and exchanging stories through life's ups and downs. As he grew up and headed off to college, circumstances led to an unexpected separation from his loyal feline friend.

Despite the uncertainty, I hold onto the hope that when he graduates, he'll reunite with his faithful companion, and their bond can flourish once more.

We're right in the midst of it! Everything may be frozen solid, but our animals are well taken care of - with hay, water, straw, food, and warmth! The cold snap isn't sparing anyone, but our equine friends are making the most of it, enjoying their time out to stretch their legs and socialize. Even a brief outing is beneficial for their spirits. Meanwhile, our hens are delighted with their fresh straw and hidden treats, while the ducks appreciate their dry, warm kennel space - especially Gregory Qwackers, who's receiving medication and needs some extra rest. As for our feline companions, they're cozying up together near their heaters, watching the world go by from the warmth of their beds.

A Farmer’s Prayer Before the Freeze

Tonight, we ask for mercy in the cold.
For wind that softens its grip,
for temperatures that ease just enough
to let life hold on.

Watch over the animals tucked into straw and wood,
the quiet breaths in barns and coops,
the ones who trust us without words.
Keep them warm where our hands can’t reach.

Bless the fences, the heaters, the water lines,
the lamps glowing through the dark.
Bless the tired hands that checked one more time,
and the hearts that won’t rest until morning.

We’ve done what we can.
Now we place the rest in Your care.
Carry us through the long night,
and let the morning come gentle.
