Rotary Club of North St Paul - Maplewood - Oakdale

Rotary Club of North St Paul - Maplewood - Oakdale Our Rotary Club is a collection of business and community leaders that give their time, treasure, and talent as part of their commitment to Rotary.

Our club was founded in 1979 and is a collection of business and community leaders from North St. Paul, Maplewood, and Oakdale that give their time, treasure, and talent as part of their commitment to Rotary. Without your support, the Rotary Club is powerless to provide vital assistance to our local and global communities. Please consider giving to our Rotary club this year, either with a direct d

onation or through participation in our Annual Sporting Clay Shoot, or other fund raising activities. Join us Friday mornings at 7 at Salvation Army Lakewood Temple in Maplewood to learn more on what we do in our communities.

Last Friday, our Rotary Club was proud to present a $1,000 check to PeaceMaker Minnesota, funds raised through our Polar Plunge efforts earlier this year. Thanks to a matching contribution, that total turned into $2,000 in support of their mission!

This was truly a team effort, and we’re grateful to everyone who supported, donated, and (yes) braved the cold with us! 🥶

We had the honor of presenting the check to their president, Dan McNeil, and we’re excited to support the important work PeaceMaker MN is doing in our community.

Thanks again to PeaceMaker Minnesota for sharing this photo—and for all that you do!

Back in February, these brave individuals from the Rotary Club of North St Paul - Maplewood - Oakdale faced the Minnesota cold by participating in the Polar Plunge 🥶. Their efforts raised $1,000 for PeaceMaker Minnesota! These funds will go right back to the North St. Paul/Oakdale/Maplewood community through our endowment fund- clearly these folks believe that Community Counts. Thank you!

Join us this Friday to learn more about EOB from the UMN and their progress on the water project in Guatemala.
Using funds provided by Rotary, donors, and other partners, the Minnesota Student Chapter of EWB (EWB-UMN) plans to continue overhauling a water system that serves over 3,500 community members in Simajhuleu, Guatemala. EWB-UMN has been working with the community to implement the following:
Water meters
Water regulation measures
Education on community regulation/pricing of water systems
Phase 1 of this project included Chlorination, Pressure Relief Valves and Capacity updates. Completing the additions that are included in the 2027 plan will complete the system and supply clean water to over 3,500 individuals!

We meet at The Salvation Army Lakewood Worship and Service Center Friday morning at 7 am.

Have you ever immediately forgotten the name of someone you just met?
Would you like to remember the names of five, fifteen, twenty, or fifty people you met at a business or social event?
Would you like to have the freedom to go back to someone you met at an event to make a business or social connection without having the embarrassment of asking their name again?

Bob Miller will teach you how. With over two decades as a professional magician, he has met many people while performing his magic shows. He would regularly name everyone in the audience. It's not a trick! It's a memory skill that anyone can learn.

With stories, practical instructions, and tests, Bob Miller teaches anyone with average memory abilities how to create memorable mental links to lock names to faces every time, using his three-step system: Look! Listen! Link!

Bob Miller shares real-life examples of how he captured the names of many people at events and then turned them into prospects simply by calling them by name and starting a conversation.

Bob also discusses the two different types of memory, the four elements required for learning, and how to deal with mental limitations preventing you from believing you can do this.

As a secondary benefit, you'll also learn how to memorize a list of items of any length, which can be helpful for grocery orders or for giving speeches without notes.

You will be inspired by his stories, instructed by his lessons, and amazed at your discovery of your own memory power.
