No archery practice this weekend.

Sunday the RL/PT Straight Shooters hosted a Shotgun Match at Capital City Gun Club in Topeka. We had a little over 50 kids attending from all across Kansas trying to get qualified for the Fall State 4-H Shotgun match.
We had Maggie, Colton, Michael, Max, Vera and Rylinn all shooting at the match.

Duncan, Clayton, Skylar, Rylinn, and Logan competed at the Jefferson Co Archery Match on Saturday.
Clayton, Duncan, and Rylinn shot state qualifying scores.
Congratulations on some excellent shooting.

Archery practice will held tomorrow. If the weather is bad, we will make the call at 7:00 am.

Last normal practice will be on Aug 29. In September, there will be a few practices for the kids going to the state match.

Spent the morning at the Jefferson County 4-H shotgun state qualifier match at Capital City gun club in Topeka.
We had Taylor, Trevon, Maggie, Max and Michael all shooting today.
Taylor, Trevon and Maggie qualified in both Trap and S***t and Max got qualified in Trap. Excellent shooting today to get qualified.

The RL/PT club is hosting a shotgun qualifier next weekend at Capital City Gun club so hopefully we can get a couple more team members qualified in both trap and s***t for the state 4-H match.

Taylor and Rylinn at the Jackson/Nemaha Bullmasters 4-H 3p smallbore match this morning. Both girls shot great and are qualified for the state 4-H Smallbore match next month.

RL/PT trap team at the Jackson/Nemaha Bullmasters 4-H shotgun qualifier today. Trevin and Michael both qualified for the state match in Trap and Trevin ran a 50 straight in trap.

Joshua from Sunflower District, Sherman County and Taylor from Pottawatomie County just earned National 4-H Shooting Sports Ambassador positions! They attended the National 4-H Teen Leadership Institute in Georgia and were among 36 teens selected as ambassadors. They will promote 4-H Shooting Sports across Kansas and the nation. They join tow other National Ambassadors from Kansas who were selected in 2025, Isaac from Sedgwick County and Hannah from Wabaunsee County. Congratulations to all four of these 4-H youth!
