💔 URGENT FOSTERS NEEDED 💔

PLEASE SHARE 🙏

The first three dogs are in Wabaunsee county, being shot at by farmers, weathering the storms, and are very hungry.

We are trying our hardest to get them to safety, but we need your help. We NEED fosters! In order to save the 3 Wabaunsee dogs, we must adopt our or find fosters for the 3 dogs currently being housed at our HQ location, pictured after the Wabaunsee dogs (Emma, Baxter, & Huxley).

Fostering saves lives. When one dog moves into a foster home, it opens a space for another dog in need. It gives frightened dogs a chance to decompress, learn what love feels like again, and prepare for their forever families.

Every day, more dogs are abandoned, neglected, or left with nowhere to go. Our foster homes are full, our resources are stretched thin, and yet the calls for help keep coming.

💔 URGENT FOSTERS NEEDED 💔

Rescue is at a breaking point.

These two are in Wabaunsee county, they’re being shot at by farmers, and the bad weather tonight is a threat to their lives.

These two were recently dumped and left to fend for themselves. Through no fault of their own, they found themselves scared, confused, and wondering why the people they trusted never came back.

What they desperately need now is a foster home.

Fostering saves lives. When one dog moves into a foster home, it opens a space for another dog in need. It gives frightened dogs a chance to decompress, learn what love feels like again, and prepare for their forever families.

Here is a schedule of our upcoming adoption events 🐾

🐶Don't forget to add these dates to your calendar! On the Thursday or Friday before these events, we will post who will be attending. Then, we will reshare that list again on the Saturday of the event!

🐱These adoption events are a great way to see a handful of our adoptable dogs in foster homes. Additionally, we typically have our kitties still in their condos, so they are available to meet as well!

We got an update on Brenda yesterday. This is her evolution collage from her first day in foster, when she came back, and now in her forever home. We are floored that it’s the same dog. She’s so grown and doing fantastic!

Meet Shelly 🐾

Shelly is a pretty little 4 month old tabby kitty. She is a velcro kitty who loved to cuddle🥰 This girl is good with other cats and is getting used to living with dogs. Shelly is spayed, vaccinated and ready to be adopted!

Adopt from us! Purple Power Animal Welfare Society is a foster-based rescue located near Manhattan, KS.

🐾We have a wide variety of dogs and cats with ranging ages and sizes. One thing all has in common is their friendliness! All of our animals live each day in a foster home as they wait for their forever families to come adopt them.

🏠Meet and greets can be set up after an adoption application is filled out. Additionally, we have adoption events every other Saturday at PetSmart in Manhattan off Seth Child Rd.

🥳 Adoptions 🥳

First up was Collin’s! This lucky kitty was at a shelter just last week and now he has a furever home🤗 This sweet boy stole their hearts💜

Next was Miss Artemis! All of her dreams came true! She will have a yard all to herself in a quiet and nice small town. And will be the center of her new dad’s world. The simple life she’s dreamed of! Thank you Sierra for fostering Artemis, and thank you Bob for adopting this gentle giant!

🐾 Many thanks to PetSmart for being a great partner in adoption and helping us place kitties in great homes😻

🐾 We also want to thank our wonderful fosters, they take such good care of our foster dogs/cats as they wait for their forever homes🥰
