🏆 They are IHSA Regional, Sectional, and Super-Sectional Champions, and now they’ve made it to the Final Four at State for the first time in program history!

🏆⚾ PLAYER OF THE GAME ⚾🏆

The Illinois Celtics saved their biggest offensive performance of the weekend for the championship game, exploding for 21 hits on their way to a 24-11 victory over Crush Family Baseball to bring home the Let's Ketchup Classic championship in Bradley, IL! ☘️🏆

Leading the charge was Dan "The Conman" Connelly, earning Player of the Game honors with a performance that seemed to put runs on the board every time he stepped onto the field.

Danny went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI and 4 stolen bases, creating havoc on the bases and helping fuel an offensive onslaught that the Crush couldn't slow down. He also played outstanding defense, making the routine plays look easy and helping the Celtics close out the championship victory.

When the Celtics needed a big-time performance with a trip to the championship game on the line, Charlie "Stix" McGraw delivered exactly that.

In the semifinals of the Let's Ketchup Classic at the Bradley 315 Sports Complex, Charlie turned in a dominant performance on the mound, helping lead the Illinois Celtics to a 9-5 victory over the Frankfort Force and a spot in the championship game.

Charlie battled through 5 strong innings, allowing just 3 hits and 2 earned runs while keeping the Force offense in check when it mattered most. Every championship run needs a pitcher willing to compete, and Charlie answered the call in the biggest game of the weekend.

He also contributed at the plate, going 1-for-1 with a walk, reaching base in both of his opportunities and helping spark the Celtics offense.

Some hitters take big bites out of a baseball game. On Saturday, Mason Gallacher took the whole meal. ☘️🔥

The Illinois Celtics powered past the Orland Park Warriors 14-3, and Mason was right in the middle of the offensive attack. He collected 3 hits, including two triples and a single, while driving in a run and constantly putting pressure on the defense.

When the Illinois Celtics needed someone to answer the call Friday night, Jack "Jackie Bobbie" Smetana picked up the phone. ☘️📞

Ring ceremony.

No matter what is said or done between the lines, at the end of the day we're all ballplayers playing a game we love. One of the best parts of baseball is seeing two teams compete their hearts out, battle for every inning, and then come together afterward to celebrate each other's accomplishments.

It's great to see these kids show respect for one another and recognize the hard work both teams put in throughout a long tournament weekend. Moments like these remind us that while championships and rings are special, the friendships, sportsmanship, and memories made along the way are what truly last.
