Join the Merrymakers at Republic Brewing!

The Merrymakers are happy to invite you to our first “Meet Your Neighbors” event of 2026. If you haven’t joined us at one of these before, these are casual meetups aimed to foster community and meet new people in a relaxed environment.

Please join us:

When: Thursday, February 5, 6pm

Where: Republic Brewing (72 Old Granite St.)

You don’t have to be a ‘neighbor’ to join! Though we are based in the historic district, the MYN events are open to anyone who’s looking to have fun and make friends while supporting local businesses.

Some light snacks will be provided. Beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and more food are available for purchase.

This is a free event with no ticket required, but we do ask that you RSVP so we can prepare accordingly.

We have been a busy bunch of elves and are a little late with this post, but this job deserves a HUGE shoutout!

Three years ago, **Merrymaking on W. Merrimack** started with one simple idea: get the neighbors together and celebrate the season.
Fast forward to year **THREE**, and it’s now one of the **largest FREE outdoor events in Manchester**. Talk about a glow-up. 🎄✨🎅🏻

We had the honor of designing AND printing these cozy crewneck sweatshirts for this year’s celebration on December 7th and love seeing a small neighborhood idea turn into a full-blown community tradition. This is what it’s all about.

Our 2025 commemorative ornament is now available in our museum gift shop 🎁

In connection with the “Amoskeag Revisited” exhibit, the 2025 ornament highlights the corporation housing in the millyard. Did you know Manchester is the only city that still has its worker housing intact and in use?

The Merrymakers, a group of Volunteers who started and organize the annual event, took the time to present to the The City of Manchester NH - Government Board of Mayor and
Aldermen this evening.

Without the support of the city and our public services, we could not have a safe event to celebrate the Amoskeag Mill Housing area or our neighbors.

Can we get a standing ovation for the city (or at least Milly the horse) please? 👏🏻🚔 🚒👏🏻
