If you haven't already registered for the HLAA New York State Conference in Saratoga Springs, NY on October 2-4, time and available space is running out fast.

A couple of important deadlines:

September 4th: Conference hotel discount rates end. After this date, regular rates are nearly double. To reserve a room, contact the Holiday Inn of Saratoga Springs at 518-584-4550 and ask for discount code "HLA"
September 25th: Last day to register for the conference at a very reasonable cost of $175 and ensure you will receive free meals. To register, use the special registration link: www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/hlaa-nys-2026-conference

The three-day conference features an outstanding group of professional speakers, an exhibit hall, top entertainment, and multiple opportunities for socialization with old and new friends from throughout Westchester and Rockland Counties, New York and surrounding states. To date, 160 people have registered for the conference. And Saratoga Springs is very easy to get to by car, Amtrak or bus.

Today, HLAA celebrates the 36th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This landmark civil rights law expanded access and opportunity for millions of Americans with disabilities, including people with hearing loss.
