Due to the weather, we will be canceling the guided tours, coloring en plain air, and the art bus.
We will still have the Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions workshop (2:30 PM) and closing reception at One River School 5-7pm with our silent auction and raffle. Please come out to that and support local. You may pick up a map at Mamaroneck Artist Guild, Flower Bar, One River or Village Mercantile and tour the locations.

Join us on Saturday, April 29, for the closing event starting at 12:30pm from Pocket Park.

Kicking off at Pocket Park next to Stephanie’s Kloset, you can hop on Jackie Oh my God's Art bus where she has a display of her artwork.

Before we head off to the first of two guided tours get some coloring done in plein air while we wait for people to gather for the tour!

We have updated the location of our first tour! Starting at 1 PM from Pocket Park, we will tour the Palmer Ave side shopping districts then at 3 PM we head over to Addison Park next to CVS, to tour the Boston Post side of town!

From 2:30pm, you can pop into One River School of Art + Design for a workshop and draw inspiration from the 2024 Lions’ Peace poster contest Theme “Dare to Dream” where One River instructors will guide participants in coming up with their own poster concepts. Two featured returning artists, Zahra Jlayer and Val Daughtrey. An exhibit of the Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions Peace Poster 2023 winners display framed generously donated by Circle 7 Framing.

And for our closing reception from 5-7 PM at One River, where you can meet the artists, sponsors, LAOTA committee, and chamber members.

We will auction items that include: Jewelry from Palmer Jewelers inc., Art from Marie McNicholas & other quality items.

We will also have a raffle where items include gift certificates from various chamber members including Onsem, ProClinix Sports Physical Therapy & Chiropractic and Tequila Sunrise Larchmont

2022 Lions Peace Poster Contest Winners On Display at One River School

The LM Lions Clubs local Peace Poster winners are on display at One River School as part of Larchmont’s “Arts on the Avenues”.

The LM Lions are proud to have our 4 local winner’s art on display. Congratulations to Elsa Thorez from FASNY French-American School of New York, Emma Sapperstein from Hommocks Middle School, Nina Heery from Rye Neck Middle School and Estelle Puong from Saints John and Paul School.

The Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions will once again partner with our local middle schools for the 2023 Lions Peace Poster Contest, with the theme “Dare to Dream”.

Hosted by the Larchmont Chamber of Commerce, Arts on the Avenues is a month-long exhibition, featuring Westchester artists at local Larchmont businesses. This “strolling gallery” kicked off with a day-long event on Saturday, April 1st and will continue with various events throughout the month.
