Some partnerships are built one act of generosity at a time - and this year, Constable Volunteer Fire Department took first place in the BBQ Chicken Competition. But their role in our community reaches well beyond the charcoal pits.

To honor their continued dedication, they were presented with a donation and the Champion trophy nameplate. Their participation helped support a festival created to bring people together and help address food insecurity for families across our region.

Fort Covington Fire Department joined this year’s Fieldstone Music Festival BBQ Chicken Competition, helping bring people together in support of efforts to address food insecurity across the communities we serve.

Hunger Action Month is a reminder that addressing food insecurity takes all of us.

Through Fieldstone Foundation’s Backpack Program, schools, volunteers, donors and community partners come together to help provide weekend food for more than 600 children.

Nearly 1 in 5 children in Franklin County face food insecurity.

Behind that number are children and families in communities across our region who are struggling to put enough food on the table.

Fieldstone Foundation is working to help close that gap.

Through the Backpack Program, we bring schools, volunteers, partners and resources together to provide children with food for the weekend when school meals aren’t available.

Last year, that partnership reached 580 children across nine schools in six school districts.

The need is significant. So is what we can accomplish when a community comes together around it.

Strong communities show up for each other, season after season.

St. Regis Falls Volunteer Fire Department brought their signature energy to this year's Fieldstone Music Festival - the same energy they bring to every call, day or night, throughout the year.

This week, we presented them with a donation in thanks for their role in the BBQ Chicken Competition, part of the Festival that raises funds for housing and financial insecurity initiatives across our region.

🎒 For most children, Friday means looking forward to the weekend. For some, it also means losing access to the reliable meals they receive at school.

That's the weekend gap, and it's why the Fieldstone Foundation's Backpack Program matters.

Each week, participating elementary students bring home nutritious, child-friendly meals and snacks for the weekend. Last year, the program supported 580 children across 9 schools in 6 districts, providing more than 65,000 meals and snacks.

During Hunger Action Month, we're shining a light on childhood hunger right here at home and the power of our community to help address it. 🌱

Because every child deserves the opportunity to spend the weekend simply being a kid.

Supporting young people takes strong community partnerships.

Fieldstone Foundation was proud to join the Adirondack For Kids Foundation at its annual golf tournament at Malone Golf Club. 🏌️

Susan Shantie, Magen Young, Cheryl Blanchard and Stephanie Mayville represented Fieldstone in support of an organization that helps create opportunities for children and families across Northern New York.
