🔥 BBQ lovers — this one is for YOU! 🔥

The 5th Annual Fieldstone Music Festival is serving up more than great music on Saturday, June 13th, 2026… we’re bringing back the Fire Department BBQ Chicken Competition! 🍗🚒

Our amazing local volunteer fire departments will once again fire up the grills and battle it out for BBQ bragging rights — and festivalgoers get to enjoy every delicious bite.

Featuring BBQ chicken prepared by:
🚒 Saint Regis Falls Volunteer Fire Department
🚒 Fort Covington Fire Department
🚒 Constable Volunteer Firemen

These departments do so much for our communities every single day, and we are honored to have them as part of this special event. Their dedication, teamwork, and community spirit are what this festival is all about. ❤️

💛💛 Community showing up for community. 💛💛

Today’s Backpack Program volunteer session was another reminder of just how much can happen when people choose to care for one another. Bags were packed, conversations were shared, and together we helped make sure local children head into the weekend with food and support they can count on.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who spent part of their day with us. Your time, energy, and compassion continue to make this program possible for hundreds of children across our communities.

We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with TruNorthern Federal Credit Union and their continued commitment to supporting children and families in our community through the Backpack Program. 💙

This meaningful $2,500 donation made in honor of Dick LaVigne speaks volumes about both TruNorthern’s generosity and Dick’s lasting impact on our community. Dick has been a long-time supporter and advocate of the Backpack Program and we are so thankful for the care, compassion, and leadership he has shown over the years.

The Backpack Program is only possible because of community partners and supporters like TruNorthern and Dick, who understand the importance of ensuring children have access to nutritious food over the weekend.

A legacy of giving back. TruNorthern Federal Credit Union was proud to present a $2,500 donation to the Fieldstone Foundation's Backpack Program in honor of Dick LaVigne, a dedicated board member who recently retired after five years of devoted service to TruNorthern. We wanted to celebrate his retirement in a way that reflected the kind of person he is — someone who truly cares about this community.

The Fieldstone Foundation's Backpack Program works quietly and compassionately behind the scenes — sending backpacks filled with nutritious food home with children every Friday so they have enough to eat over the weekend. Today, the program serves 585 kids every week right here in our community.
Thank you, Dick LaVigne, for five years of leadership, dedication, and heart. We are so grateful for everything you have given to TruNorthern and the people we serve.

Through their helping hands and generous hearts, these students are learning that leadership begins with compassion and community.

We are proud and honored to have spent a second year with these amazing students, who have continued to join us for volunteer sessions, making a meaningful impact in their community.

By giving their time, they’re not only supporting local children and families — they’re shaping themselves into tomorrow’s leaders, grounded in service and empathy.

As we wrap up another school year, we hate to see them go — but we wish each of them the very best summer. Thank you for stepping up and leading by example. 💛

Already at home and being enjoyed… 💛

This weekend, our Backpack Program bags are doing exactly what they’re meant to do, helping fill bellies and bring a little comfort to kids at home.

Inside this week’s bags:
🥣 Breakfast: Oatmeal & cereal
🥪 Lunch: Chicken salad kits & a warm cup of soup
🍪 Snacks: Fruit snacks, raisins & Goldfish

These are the kinds of foods children know, recognize, and can easily enjoy, making weekend meals just a little more certain.

Behind every bag is a simple goal: making sure children head back to school on Monday nourished, supported, and ready to learn.
