Community Associations Institute - Central Florida Chapter CAI also advocates for legislative and regulatory policies that support responsible governance and effective management.

At the Central Florida Chapter of CAI, our mission is simple: to inspire professionalism, effective leadership, and responsible citizenship—ideals reflected in associations that are preferred places to call home. We represent the interests of our members before the U.S. Congress, federal agencies and other policy-setting bodies on issues such as taxes, insurance, bankruptcy reform and fair housing. In addition, state Legislative Action Committees represent CAI members before state legislatures and agencies on issues such as assessment collection, foreclosure and construction defects.

The course will cover defining emotional intelligence and gaining the skills to recognize, understand, and manage your own emotions in the workspace. While recognizing, influencing, and managing the emotions of others to work together in a positive manner to accomplish the common goal. Course will meet learners’ objective of understanding the 5 Pillars of Emotional Intelligence, working through the process to gain benefits of high emotional intelligence in the workplace. Learners will gain the skills to improve communication, resolve conflict, increase leadership skills, team collaboration, improve workplace culture, customer service improvement, make informed balanced decisions, and manage emotions.
