Rain could not dampen the spirits of those present on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at the 7th Annual Police Prayer Walk. Officer Stephen Patrick Driscoll, US Navy Veteran and NYPD 9 years, was honored for his ultimate sacrifice of heroism rescuing victims trapped in the World Trade Center in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack.

There was an outpouring of support and gratitude from the community. The Walk honors ALL men and women in the line of duty: present, retired, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice serving, rescuing, protecting, upholding laws in the line of duty.

The Italian American Club of Mahopac thanks our member and founder of Back the Blue, Marianne Chaluisan, for giving our community a chance to show our appreciation to those who risk their own lives every day to protect ours.
Congratulations to member, Linda Cefaloni on receiving the Citizen Appreciation Award for her commitment to Back the Blue and our community.
