Dads Always Doing Something

10/07/2026

This past weekend was filled with fun, support and all around teamwork!

-We started Saturday off with our first Flag Football Tournament with over 100 participants and 200 in attendance. The boys came out to play🏈
Most of the proceeds will be donated to support an organization called My Sisters Place. Helps victims of Domestic Violence and those in need 💪

-Sunday morning we stopped by Sycamore park to support our ladies and children from Mahopac Septo!
They had everything from raffles, food, vendors and fun games for the kids to enjoy.

-Sunday afternoon we headed to march in the parade with Italian American Club of Mahopac for Columbus Day!

Let’s continue to bridge the gap and help one another across the board💙

The room was packed with D.A.D.S. who were interested in helping out SEPTO and the women involved in making a change. This organization is striving to include ALL kids, no matter what it takes. Our group fully supports their mission and will do whatever it takes to help SEPTO accomplish the goal. Thanks for joining us ladies💙

We have been collaborating with so many amazing organizations including the Rotary International of Lake Mahopac. This was their second annual “Pizza & Brew” event where some local businesses competed in a meatball competition ! Some of our members volunteered to help with serving food, setting up, breaking down and joining in on the fun.

Trio Pizza won best meatball of 2027!

Thanks you to the participating businesses including Cacciatori Pizza Mahopac & Friends Waterfront .

There was even a “mystery” meatball donated by…Dads Always Doing Something!

Awesome event! 💙

We cannot thank these small businesses enough for supporting, donating funds, gift cards, services and experiences for D.A.D.S. Day and our Dads For Grads Scholarship Program. These people believe in the work that we do, the vision we have for the community and the lasting impact on future generations. We want to recognize their business and continue to support them locally. It is absolutely AMAZING to see what a group can accomplish when everyone chips in💙

Last Thursday we were able to give away (2) $1000 scholarships to High School Students attending college next year. They were so grateful and honored to receive our very first awards! Let’s keep working towards a better future for ALL.

We are extremely overwhelmed, grateful and beyond thankful for the support that so many businesses have given to this group so far.
