About Our Troop:
Somers Troop 376 started out as the third Troop in Somers with 7 boys and 6 parents in 1992 and has now grown to be one of the largest Boy Scout Troops in the Muscoot District. Our Troop is chartered by the Somers Lions Club and meets at the Somers Middle School cafeteria every Tuesday during the school year @ 7:00PM. During these meetings, the Scouts organize and prepare for upc
oming events and campouts, and work on perfecting Scout skills and life skills. Our boys learn the critical leadership skills required to be successful in life, now and in the future. In keeping with one of the core principles of BSA, Troop 376 is a BOY-LED TROOP, supervised by our BSA Trained Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmasters, Troop Committee, and Charter Organization, The Somers Lions Club (which consists of many dedicated and enthusiastic parents and community leaders).
