From one Medical Mama to Another…

Happy Mother’s Day to the mamas beside hospital beds instead of at home… To the moms who know the sound of monitors better than silence, who sleep in chairs, survive on coffee, and carry fear in their chest while still somehow showing up with love every single day… I see you.

This journey is heavy. It is exhausting. It is unfair at times. But your baby was given you for a reason.

You are their safe place. Their comfort. Their anchor in the middle of every storm. You are the reason they keep smiling through hard days. The reason they feel safe in unfamiliar rooms. The hands they reach for when they hurt. The voice they know no matter how many machines surround them.

Some of you are celebrating Mother’s Day inside hospital walls. Some of you have walked this road before and still carry the scars quietly. And some of you are somewhere in between — healing while still fighting.

No matter where you are in the journey, please know this:

You are doing better than you think you are.
Your love matters more than you realize.
And your strength — even on the days you feel weak — is extraordinary.

Today we celebrate the fiercest kind of love there is: a mother who keeps showing up, no matter how hard the road becomes.
