Magnolia VFW Post 12213

Who haven’t you seen around your Post lately? October is the time to reach out and reconnect.

Texas VFW is challenging every Post to reconnect with a comrade who has stepped away from meetings, activities, or the Post community.

Prepare now to complete Challenge #2:

• Identify a comrade you have not seen in a while
• Reconnect with a genuine phone call, text, or visit
• Listen and let them know they are missed
• Invite them to reconnect with their Post and fellow Veterans

This is more than asking someone to attend a meeting. It is about making sure our comrades know they are remembered, valued, and still part of the VFW family.

Sometimes one sincere conversation is all it takes to restore a connection. This October, don’t let a buddy disappear from your Post without reaching out.

Texas VFW reminds you that checking in can make a meaningful difference. September is Su***de Prevention Month, AND every month connection can make a difference!

A Buddy Check is taking a few moments to intentionally connect with a fellow Veteran and pay attention to how they’re really doing.

CONNECT by reaching out
NOTICE changes in behavior or routine
ASK honest questions, and truly listen.
ACT if they need support. Don’t leave them to face life’s challenges alone.

You don’t need the perfect words. You just need to show up, listen, and remind them they are not alone.

This one means a lot. ❤️🤍💙

Thanks to our America 250 kickoff event and continued sales of America 250 American Cream Ale, we were able to donate $1,800 to Magnolia VFW! 🇺🇸🍻

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, grabbed a pint, and helped make this possible. We’re proud to support our local veterans!

Yellow Rose is now at Kelly’s Irish Pub! 🍺☘️

Our flagship SMaSH IPA is available in cans at this Austin local favorite. Stop in, crack open a Yellow Rose, and raise a glass. 🍻

Here's to another great place to find Lone Pint.
