Una palabra de ánimo para nuestro día. ❤

This morning, Gail Wright led us through 2 Corinthians 12 and reminded us of a powerful truth found in verse 9:

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

Hard seasons can shake our faith. There are moments when we feel weak, uncertain, or overwhelmed, and we may wonder how God can possibly use us in the middle of it all. But Scripture reminds us that our weaknesses do not disqualify us—they can become the very place where God’s power is most clearly seen.

We can spend so much time trying to have it all together—to look perfect, know all the answers, or prove that we are strong enough. But God isn't asking us to be perfect. He is asking us to surrender, trust Him, and allow Him to work in and through us.

Whatever season you may be walking through today, remember: God is there. His grace is enough. His power is greater than our weakness.

Sometimes, our greatest strength is simply allowing God to be strong in us.

Our annual fundraiser centered around this year’s theme, “All Things in Common,” inspired by Acts 2:44–45.

We heard beautiful testimonies of how God uses ordinary people to come together, care for one another, and make a difference. We were reminded that we are all image bearers of Christ, created to love, serve, and care for one another.

We are so grateful for everyone who came alongside The Mercy Ministries through prayer, encouragement, and generous giving. A special thank you to our event sponsor, Dot Foods, BB Catering for a delicious meal, and The Dahlia Event Center for hosting us so graciously.

What a blessing to see what God can do when His people come together and share what He has given us. All things in common, all for His glory. ❤️

This morning, we were blessed by a beautiful devotion from Ashley Martin on Matthew 11:2–10.

John the Baptist came to Jesus with questions and doubts—and Jesus didn’t turn him away. Instead, He reminded John of what God was doing.

What a beautiful reminder for us, too. When doubts come, we can bring them to Jesus. We can look back at all God has already done, remember the prayers He has answered, the miracles we have witnessed, and the ways He has faithfully carried us before.

Our circumstances may change, but Jesus does not.

In difficult seasons, may we keep our eyes fixed on Him. Stay in His Word. Stay in prayer. And stay in fellowship with other believers who can encourage us and remind us of God’s faithfulness when we need it most.

Don’t let your circumstances become bigger than your Savior. Look back at what He has done, look to what He is doing, and keep your eyes on Jesus.

“Go and tell John what you hear and see.” — Matthew 11:4

What a privilege it is to serve a God who meets us even in our doubts and continually points us back to Himself.
