South Georgia Mounted Search and Rescue South Georgia Mounted Search & Rescue Team is a organization of well-trained volunteers & horses that aid LE and EMA in locating lost persons.

We do not charge for our services. Founded in January 2015. We are a Mounted team dedicated to assisting area law enforcement, EMA and other organized groups in finding lost or missing persons.

Horses enjoy quality time with you, take time just to enjoy them ! ❤️

You started your journey with horses because you love them, remember?

Sometimes you just need to go to the barn, take your horse out of the stall and BREATHE.

Maybe you don’t even ride. Maybe you go for a hand walk and sit in the grass while your horse munches. Or maybe you get out of the arena and go on a trail ride and enjoy the sounds around you. Or maybe you just sit in the corner of the stall while your horse nuzzles your hair and you read a book.

Slow down. Enjoy the moment. The world has taught us to hustle 24/7 and we bring that energy with us to the barn - the next level, the higher fence, the faster time around the course.
