Come out and support the players as they compete for a spot in the championship game. Good luck to all four teams!

Let’s do a send off for the Viking Baseball Team out of town tomorrow morning! Bus leaves Sanborn at 10 am and will go Back Center Road! Park at Calkins Rock Products and help cheer them on!!!!

These boys once played for us and now they are off to fight for another state title. Come cheer them on as they leave town.

⚾🥎 A Quick Reminder About Our Fields 🥎⚾

LYBS is fully volunteer run, and a lot of the little things that keep the fields looking good happen because people quietly step up and help out.

If you notice a trash can getting full, trash around the dugouts, or something small that can be taken care of quickly, please feel empowered to help out. Even small things make a big difference over the course of the season.

We’ve had a lot of people contributing behind the scenes already this year, and it’s appreciated.

Fun At Bat Has Officially Begun

The Fun At Bat program officially kicked off today with its first session of the season.

This program is focused on introducing younger players to the game in a fun, supportive environment while building confidence and basic skills.

It was great to see the energy and excitement out on the field, and we’re looking forward to the weeks ahead.

Built for the Kids!!!

We’ve had a great turnout for both T-Ball and Coach Pitch this season, and we made the decision to keep team sizes small so every player gets a focused, positive experience.

To make that happen, our T-Ball VP put in a significant amount of time building out a second T-Ball field to make it ready for play. It looks great, don’t you think?

Another league supporter, a Coach Pitch parent with a spouse serving as an assistant coach, stepped up as well, donating materials and building new benches for the players.

The photos here are from today, the first time the new field was put to use.

This is what makes this league work. People showing up, putting in the time, and creating a better experience for the kids.
