Vermont Pilot’s Association Launches President’s Aviation Scholarship

The Vermont Pilot’s Association’s (VPA)President’s Aviation Scholarship returns this year, aimed at supporting the next generation of aviators in the Northeast Kingdom. This scholarship offers a full ride grant of up to $15,000 to a deserving student, aged 16 to 19, who is pursuing their Private Pilot License. The President’s Aviation Scholarship seeks to discover and cultivate promising talent from the local community, providing financial support for flight training and opening doors to future careers in aviation.

ā€œWe are pleased to continue the President’s Aviation Scholarship, reflecting our ongoing commitment to fostering aviation excellence within our community,ā€ said Toby Schine, president of the Vermont Pilot’s Association. ā€œThis scholarship offers a life-changing opportunity for a local student to begin a transformative journey in aviation, with the potential to shape their future and positively impact their families for generations.ā€

In partnership with Chapter 1576 of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), the VPA is dedicated to ensuring that all eligible candidates in the Northeast Kingdom are aware of and can apply for this important opportunity. The President’s Aviation Scholarship represents the VPA’s long-term commitment to advancing aviation education and expanding opportunities in the region.

Applications for the President’s Aviation Scholarship are due by April 30, 2025. For more details, please contact [email protected].
