Advocating on behalf of all veterans and promoting patriotism/good citizenship. Meetings 6:30 pm, 2nd Tues., NO meetings Jan & Feb.

On Friday, Jul 17, 2026 VFW Post 5970 Auxiliary presented a 3x5 American flag for the flagpole at Makavali Auto Repair on 12/16. Royale accepted the flag and thanked the group fke chosing him at their meeting this past Tuesday. He is looking to get new flag pole rigging up soon.

Help active duty military families. Free school supplies will be available to military families from 3-6 pm on Thurs., Aug 13, 2026 in the South Post Community Center, Volk Field. If you’d like to donate supplies visit Dollar Tree stores in Holmen, Onalaska, La Crosse, Sparta, or Tomah July 5 – Aug 7.

Military spouses spend so much time supporting others that it’s easy to forget we need support, too. Sometimes that support looks like therapy or community, and sometimes it looks like a walk, a book or a needle and thread.
