Today, we are simply thankful for YOU. 🇺🇸🤝

Last night’s V.E.T.S. gathering at Sterling Cigar Lounge was another incredible reminder of what makes the Tampa Bay veteran community so special. With so many great organizations and events happening throughout our community, we never take for granted that veterans, families, supporters, and friends continue to choose to spend their time with Stairway For Heroes. 🙏❤️

A very special thank you to Hillsborough County Commissioner Dr. Donna Cameron Cepeda 🇺🇸 for joining us, spending time with our veterans, listening, and simply being part of the evening. Having community leaders who show up and engage with those who served means a great deal to us. 🤝

And of course, thank you to Harry and Sterling Cigar Lounge 💨❤️ for once again welcoming our community. Harry unexpectedly surprised three of our veterans with raffle prizes 🎁🇺🇸. It was another example of the kindness and support that make Harry and Sterling such special partners.

To everyone who joined us, thank you for continuing to believe in what we are building. Every conversation, connection, and new face matters. ❤️🤍💙

We may be a day late this week, but the gratitude is just as strong! 🇺🇸⛳️

Today, we are incredibly thankful for Kyle Howell and Base Wealth Management for their continued belief in and support of our mission. 🤝❤️

Kyle has been with us from the beginning. He supported our very first golf tournament and has not missed one since. 🏌️‍♂️⛳️ he is also one of many incredible supporters who have continued to show up for us year after year, and we never take that loyalty and belief in our mission for granted. We know Kyle will continue to be part of this journey as Stairway For Heroes grows and reaches even more veterans. 🙏🇺🇸

On Wednesday, August 12, we’re bringing people together for another V.E.T.S. (Veterans Engaging Together Socially) gathering at Sterling Cigar Lounge & Bar in Ybor City.

This isn’t just another networking event. We don’t measure success by attendance. We measure it by the conversations, the friendships, and the relationships that continue long after the evening ends. That’s the difference between hosting an event and building a community. ❤️

July 31, 2026 will forever be a special day in our history. 🇺🇸 ❤️

We are incredibly proud to share that our CEO and Founder, Melvin Azofeifa, was presented with an official Commendation 🏆 from the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners in recognition of his dedication and service to our veteran community through Stairway For Heroes. 🇺🇸 ⛳️

While this commendation bears one name, it represents something much bigger. 🤝

It reflects every veteran 🇺🇸 who has trusted us, every volunteer ❤️ who has stood beside us, every sponsor and community partner 🤝 who has believed in our mission, and every supporter who continues to help us build a community where no veteran stands alone. 💙

Since our founding, our goal has never been about recognition. It has always been about creating opportunities for veterans to reconnect ⛳, build lasting friendships 🤝, and discover hope ❤️ through community and the game of golf. 🏌️‍♀️

We are deeply grateful to the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners for this incredible honor 🏅 and for recognizing the importance of supporting those who have served our nation. 🇺🇸
