🌙🚀 We had an amazing time sharing our passion for STEM at Moon Day! Team 1082 loved exhibiting our robots, meeting future engineers, and inspiring the next generation of innovators through hands-on robotics.

From curious kids to lifelong space enthusiasts, thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn, ask questions, and see what VEX Robotics is all about. Events like this remind us that today’s spark of curiosity can become tomorrow’s giant leap.

🚨 Parent Volunteers Needed for Week 2 of Lovejoy Robotics Summer Camp! 🤖

We are looking for a few parent volunteers to help during Week 2 of Robotics Camp (June 8–12)!

Our camp is a fun, hands-on experience where younger students learn about robotics, teamwork, programming, and STEM through interactive activities. Even better—the camp is fully run and taught by our amazing Team 1082 students! 🙌

We simply need a few adults to help supervise camp stations, assist with transitions, and help everything run smoothly.

✅ No robotics experience required
✅ No teaching involved
✅ Just extra helping hands to support a fun and safe environment for campers

From driving practice to the Penny Boat Challenge (who knew engineering could float? 🚤💰) to an epic dance break, our campers are putting their skills to the test while having a blast!

The fun isn’t over yet… we’re gearing up for tomorrow’s competition and can’t wait to see these future engineers shine! 💥🏆

🚀📡 From robots to space communication! Today, 1082 had the incredible opportunity to visit Nokia Bell Labs to share about Lovejoy Robotics and get a behind-the-scenes look at the cutting-edge work Nokia is doing in space communication.

Our students loved learning how robotics, engineering, innovation, and problem-solving extend far beyond the competition field—and into technologies helping shape the future of communication beyond Earth. 🌎➡️🛰️
