Prayers Needed 🙏🏻

This October, we invite you to join us in praying for Namikango’s Village Bible Schools.

Through teaching Scripture in local communities, these schools help Malawians deepen their understanding of the Lord, grow as disciples of Jesus, and strengthen unity among local churches.

Please pray for:

1) The Students — that they would approach Scripture with eager hearts and grow in their understanding of Jesus’ love and grace.

2) The Leaders — that God would give them wisdom, clarity, humility, and renewed strength as they guide others through Scripture.

3) The Communities — that what is learned in these schools would extend beyond the classroom, strengthening congregations, encouraging unity, and sharing the hope of Jesus throughout local villages.

Thank you for continuing to pray for Namikango’s work across Malawi 🇲🇼

We are grateful to share that Namikango Mission has recently purchased a new Land Cruiser, which is a much-needed ministry resource that will help support the daily operations taking place across Malawi.

Because of YOU, the generosity & prayers of our partners, this vehicle will help Namikango staff travel more effectively as they equip churches, train leaders, and serve communities through numerous ministry initiatives.

Please join us in celebrating your support & giving thanks for The Lord's provision! 🙌🏼

Beauty invites us to slowness 🇲🇼

In the quiet stroll of elephants through Liwonde National Park, we are reminded that wonder is not scarce, but woven within the world around us. If we're not attentive, moments of awe can easily pass us by amid the hurried pace of our lives.

May we make room to notice, to stop, breathe deeply, receive the beauty of the Lord's creation with gratitude, and care well for what has been entrusted to us.

What moment in creation has recently stopped you in your tracks? For us, it was these elephants 🐘

Prayers Needed 🙏🏻

For the month of September, we invite you to join us in praying for Ntonda Primary School!

Serving more than 2,000 students from 13 surrounding villages, Ntonda is one of Namikango’s primary opportunities to invest in Malawi’s next generation through education and discipleship 🇲🇼

Please join us in praying for:

1. The Students - that they would be eager to learn, attentive in the classroom, and able to overcome the challenges they face at school and at home. Pray that God would help each student discover and develop the gifts He has given them.

2. The Teachers - that God would give them wisdom, patience, and renewed strength as they serve a large number of students with limited resources. Pray that they would recognize the individual needs of their students and teach with both excellence and compassion.

3. The Bible Club - Pray for the approximately 150 children who participate in Ntonda’s after-school Bible Club. Pray that they will grow in their understanding of Jesus, develop a lasting faith, and share what they are learning with their families and friends.

Thank YOU for continuing to partner with Namikango’s work across Malawi!

Extraordinary Growth 🇲🇼

Since 2015, members of the Mtendere Village Savings and Loans group have gathered weekly to fellowship, study Scripture, and pursue greater financial security for their households.

These small meetings have grown into a remarkable story of communal transformation. This year, the Mtendere group distributed approximately $52,000 among its members. This is remarkable when you consider that the minimum wage in Malawi is roughly $2.00 per day.

The Mtendere VSL group reminds us what is possible when communities are equipped with practical training, sustainable tools, and the good news of Jesus.

Ask Us Anything! 💭

Transparency is a core value at Namikango. Since we invite you to partner with us, we believe you should be able to understand how our organization operates.

So, we’re opening the conversation: What would you like to know?

Whether you have partnered with Namikango for years or are learning about us for the first time, no question is too small or too direct. Please feel fee to ask us about our ministry initiatives, leadership structure, finances, operations, partnerships, challenges, or future plans.

Leave your question in the comments or send us a private message. We will answer as openly and clearly as we can, while honoring the privacy and dignity of the people and communities we serve.

Trust grows through openness, and meaningful partnerships begin with understanding. Thank you for asking, praying, and considering how you might join what God is doing through Namikango to cultivate leaders, transform communities, and break cycles of poverty across Malawi 🇲🇼

Prayers Needed 🙏🏻

For the month of July, we invite you to join us in praying for Cohort III of Namikango’s Discipleship Training Institute.

DTI is Namikango’s primary initiative for training leaders who are equipped to share the Gospel, serve their churches, and help break cycles of poverty within their communities across Malawi 🇲🇼

Please join us in praying for:

1. The Students - pray that Blessings, Evans, Precious, Charles, Luke, Zakaria, Esther, Roydie, Tiyamike, Zione, and Rebecca would have continued energy as they approach graduation. Pray that they would remain attentive to the Spirit of God as they learn, and experience peace while away from their homes and families.

2. The Teachers - pray for wisdom as they prepare lessons, guide discussions, and balance their responsibilities while investing in the DTI program.

3. Home Congregations - pray for the churches who will receive these students after graduation. Ask God to give them wisdom, openness, and encouragement as they welcome these emerging leaders back into their communities.

Thank YOU for continuing to partner with Namikango’s work across Malawi!

Partner Shoutout: Christian Relief Fund! 📣

We are grateful for the ongoing partnership of Christian Relief Fund, whose support helps strengthen Namikango’s connection and ministry with Ntonda Primary School.

CRF works around the world to empower orphans and vulnerable children through two primary initiatives: child sponsorship and clean water projects. Their heart for child development and community transformation closely aligns with Namikango’s desire to break cycles of poverty across Malawi.

Through partnerships like this, students, teachers, and communities connected to Ntonda Primary School continue to experience encouragement, care, and opportunity.

Join us in thanking Christian Relief Fund for the meaningful work they are doing around the world! 🙏

Joy speaks for itself 🇲🇼

At Ntonda Primary School, the smiles say more than any statistic could. They remind us that joy is not only found in big milestones, but in classrooms filled with laughter, teachers who keep showing up, and children who are given space to learn, grow, and dream.

Through Namikango’s ongoing work, schools like Ntonda and communities across Malawi continue to experience development, encouragement, and hope that reaches beyond a single moment.

“Joy is the serious business of Heaven.” — C.S. Lewis
