It’s a busy day at the front warehouse. Our Nana is filling requests for seven schools. Dozens of labeled bags fill the lobby and our volunteer delivery drivers are on their way to pick and take these items to the campuses!!

Bombas socks are being loaded up for Caleb's Closet - and we love being able to give out our new bags provided by McHur Care!!

Sometimes moving forward means being willing to pivot.

Last month, we made the decision to simplify FOUND.’s operations, reduce our overhead, and operate from our two warehouses...keeping our resources focused as much as possible on what matters most: serving students and the educators who care for them every day.

And then Lubbock reminded us, once again, what it looks like when a community rallies around a mission.

Our front warehouse needed an HVAC system to make the space functional and comfortable for our volunteers, educators and all the work happening there.

Sinclair Heating, Cooling, & Plumbing Inc. donated the HVAC system.

An electrician donated his time.

Labor was provided to us at a significantly reduced cost.

And generous FOUND. donors stepped in to cover that remaining cost.

We are incredibly grateful to Sinclair Heating, Cooling, & Plumbing Inc., to the professionals who donated their time and reduced their costs, and to the donors who made the rest possible.

Our warehouse is cooler...and our hearts are pretty warm.

Thank you for continuing to believe in FOUND. as we grow, learn, pivot and keep finding the best way forward.

I ordered food to the warehouse on Wednesday and the nicest man delivered. Gabriel asked about FOUND and I was grateful to share about the amazing work we get to do every day to help kids in the schools. He was kind and encouraging and when he left I tried to leave more of a tip but never found where to do it.
This text made my whole day.
People are generous and kind and want to help and FOUND is so thankful for every one of the helpers.

We’re so thrilled and thankful for this gift from McHur Care! From the day we heard about what they do, we knew our campus contacts needed to know about their work.

Their qualified mental health professionals work directly with children, teens, and adults to build the practical tools that make daily life more manageable. Services are delivered where life happens — at home, AND at school (🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽)‼️

They meet very specific needs that we see and hear about daily. Mental health is not talked about enough, so when there’s support out there we want to get the word out!!

How kind of them to help us by providing bags for the educators we serve. WIN/WIN!

✨ Humdinger Equipment delivered 1,000 snack bags today. Perfect timing as ALWAYS.

✨ Accurate Air Solutions, LLC gave us 25 filled backpacks. Perfect timing for that too.

✨ Our sweet Carolyn Acres was back for her Tuesday morning volunteer time after a surgery and recovery. She makes us smile BIG!! 🫶🏽

So many people keep showing up.
On time every time!! ✨✨✨

There’s a lot that happens before the doors ever open.

Clothes are sorted.
Shelves are stocked.
Tables are filled.
The warehouse is organized.

Volunteers give their time, use their strengths, and do the work that makes a morning like Treat An Educator possible.

And then the doors open…and we get to watch generosity become something tangible.

More than 100 educators came through FOUND to shop for themselves last Saturday. Some were lined up before 6 a.m.

And over and over, we heard the same thing: THANK YOU. 🥹

But we’re thankful, too.

✨ Thankful for educators who pour into the next generation all year long.

✨ Thankful for volunteers who serve when no one is watching.

✨ Thankful for donors and friends who make it possible for us to have something to give.

We get to experience the truth of that here all the time.

This is what happens when a lot of people decide to do the good that is in front of them.

Many hands.
