We're Not Asking for the Shirt Off Your Back.
We're asking for the one in your closet you haven't worn in months.

We are ready for MORE!!

We're Not Asking for the Shirt Off Your Back. We're asking for the one in your closet you haven't worn in months. You know the one.  It's still in great shape.  You just don't wear it anymore. Somewhere in our community, there's a child who would LOVE to wear it.

YOU KNOW AN EDUCATOR WHO NEEDS TO SEE THIS. ✨✨✨
And we're asking you to help us find them!

FOUND is growing.
We have the resources, volunteers, and systems in place to serve MORE students across our community.
Now we need to connect with the people who see those needs firsthand.

Teachers. Counselors. School nurses. Administrators. Aides. Coaches. Support staff.

These amazing people show up daily to love on kids who are seeking consistency, support, and many times...having their very basic needs met. We love to make them SMILE with generosity by putting tools in their hands to love on the kids they serve.

If you have a school badge and work with kids, we want to connect with you!

Whether it's a pair of shoes, clean clothes, hygiene products, school supplies, or snacks, FOUND exists to help educators meet students' basic needs quickly and with dignity.

And this is the best news: There's no cost to your campus or your students.

✨Educators: Text CAMPUS to (877) 959-5011 to get connected!
✨EVERYONE ELSE: TAG AN EDUCATOR BELOW!

Think about the teachers, counselors, and school staff in your life.
One simple tag could connect them with resources that make a tremendous difference for the kids they serve.

We're ready!! Help us find the people who know where we're needed.

Well, yesterday didn’t go quite how Red Raider fans hoped…but here’s a little game plan for a Sunday win on this rainy day!

Gather your family, spend a little time cleaning out closets, and bring the clothes and shoes you’re no longer using to one of our FOUND donation bins.

We’ll take it from there and make sure those resources find their way to kids in our community who need them.

We love the thought of families spending a little time together today doing something that will make a difference for another family tomorrow.

A simple way to give back, a meaningful lesson for our kids, and a BIG win for our community. ♥️

You can drop off in one of our big green buildings at these locations:

✨ 8207 Ithaca Ave
(Megaron Post Office)

✨ 3520 Woodrow Road
(Discount Storage)

✨ 5828 Spur 327
(Hub City Body Shop)

WARMTH FOR WEST TEXAS has officially launched - and we couldn't be more grateful for all of these partners.

We have a BIG goal ahead of us!

This holiday season, we're preparing to provide approximately 3,500 beanies and blankets to children in need across our community.

For many of these kids, something as simple as a warm blanket or a brand-new beanie is so much more than a gift. It's comfort. It's warmth. It's a reminder that someone in their community cares about them.

Take a look at the local businesses, organizations and groups who have stepped up to partner with us by hosting collection locations across Lubbock. Their willingness to open their doors and rally their customers, employees and friends is what makes efforts like this possible!!

This is what we love about West Texas.
We see a need, come together and DO SOMETHING about it!!

Now we need YOUR help.

Pick up a new beanie or blanket (or a few!) and drop them off at any of the participating locations listed below. Every single donation brings us closer to our goal.

To every business and group helping make this happen, THANK YOU for using your influence, resources and relationships to make a difference in the lives of local children.

We couldn't do this without you.

Let's show 3,500 West Texas kids just how much their community cares.

Please SHARE this post and help us spread the love (and warmth)!!

“This family came with nothing.”

And we get to do something.
Something simple but significant.
Thank you for believing in what we do and for keeping us stocked so we can act.

Quickly.

“This family came with nothing.” Those words came to us last week from a school staff member requesting clothing for a young girl. She had no clothes of her own that fit.  She’d been wearing things that were too small. All she needed was jeans, shirts, a jacket, a hoodie, shoes, socks an

We took parents out of the distribution process entirely and put the resources directly into the hands of educators.

School nurses, counselors, teachers, and administrators already see these needs every day. They know which children are coming to school hungry, wearing shoes that don’t fit, or going without warm clothing.

The result of working with educators was something even better than I’d imagined.

I created a model that does two things simultaneously.

It empowers hardworking parents.

There’s a reason FOUND doesn’t distribute resources directly to parents. I designed our model to help children without enabling irresponsible behavior from the adults responsible for them. I call it “dodging parents.”  During my first three years working with families in need, I enco

Jackets and hoodies are being delivered to schools all over town today and tomorrow. This cold snap is such a humbling reminder of how comfortably most of us live while little ones endure the cold just a few blocks away. It shouldn’t be that way. So we’ll keep doing our part..Please keep the warm clothes coming.

Jen Phillips Larry Rodriguez… thank you for sharing your support yesterday at the celebrity pumpkin carving contest.

These two told a story with their pumpkins: 1 in 5 kids in the South Plains lives below the poverty level.

Zoom in on their pumpkins and you’ll see a pretty sobering picture of what that looks like. It’s hard to sit with that reality. But that’s what drives us to do what we do. The more people know about this problem right here in our community, the more people will take ACTION to make an IMPACT.

And it’s so simple.
So $1,500 goes a long way to further our efforts and we couldn’t be more grateful!!

Friends of Found, we are running low on boys pants. Size 4T, 5T, 6/7, 8, 10/12, XL and XXL.
As you are cleaning out drawers and closets, would you keep the kiddos who need these sizes in mind? Sweatpants are always needed in every size this time of year, as well as adjustable waist jeans.
We can’t do this without you, thank you for supporting FOUND! (Drop off locations in comments)
