Welcome to Mark Finkner & Chuck Hines voices of the Texas Tech University Lady Raiders.

Thanks guys for your dedication to our woman's sports program. Next year's basketball team 13 member team, includes 7' 1" Stephanie Okechukwu. Kent Hance, Jody Arrington, and Marco Rubio were instrumental in her journey from Nigeria, which mirrors Rotary International's dedication to global connections that make the world a better place.

Thank you for the love and enthusiasm for our dynamic girls program.

Susan Brints brought back another year's worth of District 5730 recognition for controbutions to the Rotary Foundation allowing us to use grant funding in our community.

We welcomed Retired Judge Sam Medina to our Lubbock Metro Rotary Club noon meeting this Monday.

His discussion on "The Forgotten Constitution -
Governed by more than the Constitution" was a discussion about the Texas Constitution. With 27 amendments and 100,000 words, the Texas constitution provides real limited government by the people and for the people. As the second largest state in the US, we have 5 different regions and 160 different languages spoken at home. Much like Rotary Texas represents so many diverse groups of peoplededicated to our neighbors.

As the saying goes "Don't Mess With Texas"
