LYBSL Friends and Families,

The 2026 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament is set to begin and the Lowell Youth Baseball and Softball League (LYBSL) has created an easy fundraiser designed to make the next few weeks a lot of fun. There is no skill involved in this pool. You don't have to know a thing about college basketball to win. Just read the rules below, Venmo $50 for each entry you would like in the pool and let the fun begin.

2026 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Takeover Pool

Basics:
Total Entries = 64
Cost per Entry = $50
Bracket = https://www.easyofficepools.com/

Prizes:
Champion = $1000
Runner Up = $500
Final Four = $100

Rules:

To start, each Entry will be randomly assigned one team from the field of 64. You can purchase as many entries as you would like.

Once we receive 64 entries, the website easyofficepools.com will randomly assign a team for each entry. If you purchase more than one entry, your teams will be evenly assigned across all four regions in the bracket.

When your team plays a game, if they cover the spread in the game they are playing, you move on to the next round.

You will now have the team that covered the spread in the next round.

Ex. UConn is playing UCLA. The spread on the game is UCLA to win by 8 points. Jane Smith has UConn as her entry, and John Jones has UCLA. If UCLA wins the game by more than 8 points, John advances to the next round with UCLA. If UConn wins the game or loses by 8 points or less (ties go to the underdog), Jane moves on to the next round with whoever won the game as her team.

This process repeats for each round until a Champion is crowned.

Payment:

Pay Via Venmo =

When making your Venmo Payment, you must provide your email address in the notes section.

Your email will be used to create entries on easyofficepools.com.

You will receive an email prior to the first game to allow you to follow the results.

Remember, this is a fundraiser for the kids but also a chance to get lucky and win some money. Please share this with any family, friends, co-workers, etc... that might be interested.

Thank you
